when should i start giving my plants nutrients and what kind.
currently i have things like bat gauno and fossillized sea bird gauno (Promotes healthy root growth and bud development as well as increasing the available phosphorous in the soil. (1-10-1))

keep in mind im kinda limited to buying things from department stores, being there are no hydro stores in my area and it is the middle of winter.

i was thinking like mg but how much and when
here is a few of my current soil plants

I've been watching this for hours hoping someone would hook you up.

Anyhow, you start nutes right from the get go. You normally run a 1/4 strength solution when they're young. Then you step it up after a week or two. That's why your babies are so pale.

I don't do soil, but hopefully this bump will interest others who do. You may have to order some stuff online.

EKRowedy I have the same problem! I cant seem to find them at my local home depot and lowes dont have shit! No hydro store within 3 hrs so I guess I will try ordering from HTGSupply but I heard they take ever for nutes.

not sure man. can you take a pic of the label or link to the company that makes it? Usually it says add x number of drops to y gallons of water.

thanks for the nutrient help after about 3 days, my soil plants are looking beter and better. :)

Thats the same stuff I use. Do you like it. How much do you mix with water? I go by the label but I was wondering if you might do a little more or less.

well im kinda a nub but ive been using it 1/4 strength i guess. so i have a 32oz bottle i water with and for each 32oz water fill-up i usually put in 1-2 squirts... would that be right?

yeah, so 32oz = 1 quart. and you're using 1-2 instead of the 7 they recommend. I'm not criticizing. that's probably a good thing.

I'm not super good with soil and nutes, but you two will probably be able to help each other out through this. I will say that starting out low like EK is saying is the smart way to do it. Then you can always add a bit more if you're feeling lucky.

I put about 3 drops in a 2 liter.

A 2 liter is 2.1 quarts. On the label it says to put 7 drops in a quart.
So if I put about 7 drops in a 2 liter then that would be about 1/2 strenth.
3.5drops in a 2 liter would be about 1/4 right?

The stage your plants are at now you can use the Schultz according to the directions. 7 drops per quart of water. you will be fine until you can get something better.

I'm not trying to hi-jack a thread here but useing the Schultz nutes. Around how much should I feed my plants? One time a week? Two? Everytime I water? They are about 4-7in tall.
