should they still be on 24/0 lighting
i guess that is about the second plant;) and for that one, no, put it on 18/6 that is better for the roots as i strongly believe and saves you some power too:D roots as well as the plant itself grow during those times were stored carbon groups are used and that is during the dark hours only;) in that time the leaves also switch from CO2 to O2 respiration since oxygen is needed to us up the carbs;)

and that WW, under what lights do you grow it? CFLs??

i ask that since the WW i grew was totally iced on the fan leaves after only 3 1/2 weeks but yours rather looks like it is only 10-14 days or so in flower judging from that leak of "icing"... but no reason to panic on, it is probably still to come;)

I hear you guys say that alot...."no nutes til after the 3rd week."
While I understand the concept, and it is a safe way to proceed. Allowing the plant to live off the nutes in the soil, I was taught to get the plants under the light asap, and use mild nutes too, if it can't take the light or the nutes...trash it.
Peace
PS, it works for me.

theyre a few weeks old now and its my second grow
my first grow i didnt feed them any nutes until they went into my nft system
should i give these plants a weak nute formula or should i wait until theyre older?
here is a pic of my new batch
and also my white widow that is a few weeks from harvest
you read that guys hydro and rockwool

I wait until my plants are a month old and then start at 1/4 the recommended strength.
In hydro?

He's not in soil people, errr hydro grower

I personally give them nutes from the very day the seed gets put in the rockwool. I dont have any problems at all giving them 700ppm but my advice to you is to find out what ppm you can give them and from what age, if you grow in soil then no you probably wouldnt put any nutes in until it was a month old, but in hydro if you dont give it nutes its only getting water, give your seedlings nutes now dont worry about my ppm as my meter could be different to yours, just need to find out what you can get away with by trial and error. Definately give those seedlings nutes tho

i also give nuts early , as soon as they come out of the dome i put them in a 4 inch pot giving half strenght root stimulator then after one week they go on 18/6 w/half strenght plant food . havent lost a seedling yet.

i dont give my plants no nutes in soil until theyre 8in tall then i give em nutes for 2wks and then flip the switch when theyre 12-18iin tall

i start on my rockwool with 1/12 to 1/16 of recommended strengths, so that would be with my hesi hydro about .2-.3ml ruffly per liters water since 1l hesi hydro goes for 300l water...

but he grows on rockwool dudes, rockwool holds NO nutes at all:roll: if he would grow soil i would recommend the same thing, to not feed the until 4 weeks into grow/veg, but on rockwool you need light nutes from day one:blsmoke: that is the trouble with non-soil grow media;)
