personally i'm a soil man, always will be. i love growing outdoor and indoor but i always grow in land. dont get me wrong hydro grows fine quantity, but i dont need tooo much ;) :peace:

Yeah I am one of many growers that use coco and ive been using it for over 2 years now with great results each time. Its becoming a very popular medium to use these days as it has many benefits.
 
i grow soil,soil with no nutes for the for veg and, soil with bat guano to flower, never have tried anything else.

i guess hydro grows faster?
but soil tastes better?

i would like to try coco once since it looks like dirt but its more a hydro aspect, right? not so sure...

all this is just guessing, so correct me if i'm wrong :peace:

when i grow outdoor i have the same strategy as you. i use no nutes or BARELY any when vegging and when flowering i'll just give it a little spice :) gotta love that big beautiful sun!

Hi guys,

I prefer hydro. I have grown in soil both indoors and outdoors. I have found I can get the same taste as soil if I flush correctly. But if I dont its snap crackle pop and taste like shit.

The other thing I found out was I dont get as many bugs in hydro. Just those dam spider mites. Its eaiser to manage between grows and transplanting too.

So like, I didnt see Hydroton or rockwool but thats what I use. I start them in rapid rooters, put them into rockwool cube and then into hydroton.

no actually only the soil is nute free, i give them hesi nutes full strenght, and in bloom even a little more :D
 
im use either promix or sunshine mix. last year a bale was 30 bucks and this year its 43 bucks. i still have to get another bale for round 2.

its not at all im currently growing super lemon haze in an aero garden and although its a bit trickier then soil or hydro its worth it at the end..as im told
 
i think i would experiment with aero before i experiment with hydro but i dont discriminate too much on how to grow herb. in the end it will all be done :)
