What's YOUR 250w HPS yield???

sup guys just wondering what ur pullin with a 250 watt HPS..

on my first grow, i pulled 2 and a half oz off of 3 plants in a 3x3 tent... i was happy

veg time was just over 4 weeks and flowered 8 weeks.. no pruning or training..

for my 2nd grow, i plan on vegging for 6 weeks and topping and am hoping to pull a quap+..

please add your yield and pruning methods for your 250hps.. thanks guys!!

My first time around with a 250w HPS, in a 1'D x 2'W x 2.75'H space, over 6 ounces, just one plant in a 1' tall 5-gallon DWC.

The plant was topped early for four main colas, lots of LST through veg and super-cropped in early flower. Heavy SOG approach, it was a like looking at a solid brick of plant filling up my cabinet.

Top 1/3 of nugs were top shelf, second 1/3 was about the same as at the club, bottom 1/3 was popcorn I turned into shake (for vaping and baking).

niceee man!! 6 oz would be great this time around... i think im going to do 2 plants this time around to give them room to get nice and bushy.. and u supercrop during flower? sounds interesting.. i would have thought it would stress the plant too much.. awesome tho bro. thanks for the reply, happy growing!!

i usally plant 2 to 3 plants and get a least an 1 1/2 per plant in 1 gallon square pots. I do different strains to figure out my favorites. I LST during Veg and use jacks classic all purpose and bloom.

Lol ! I,m laughing at what i,m about to tell ya ! I got 12 grams off one plant had a very shitty first grow but learned alot and back at it with a vegenance !

Yes, nugs on super-cropped branches were not quite as big as purely LSTed branches, but for this girl it was the only way to maximize use of my space because she stretches just a tad bit more then 3x in flower.

The super-cropping didn't increase my yield, that was just for damage control. A well planned veg is what increased my yield.

Echonc: thanks for the reply and thats pretty decent for only 1 gallon pots...have u thought about maybe increasing to 2 gal? curious what the difference in yield will be..

I don't remember how much time I vegged, only that I created a canopy roughly less then 1/3 the space allowed. I had a good idea how this girl would perform, I'd flowered a clone with fluoros the previous cycle.

I topped early for four main colas to better fit the rectangular shape of my cabinet. I vegged for some weeks and LSTed very heavily to keep an even canopy, even into early flower. The final super-crop in early flower was only because I could tell I over-shot my veg slightly.

I did a 3-gallon grow once just dont have the room it got huge. I use Non feminized seeds so my chances of getting females are 50/50, I plant at least 6 seeds so I can get a good female ratio. Im about to harvest in about 2 weeks, so Ill post some pics in this thread.
