Whats the Right Light For Me?

I'm thinking of converting a Rubbermaid outdoor storage shed into an indoor grow cabinet. It's light weight, easily to drill/saw, easy to make light-tight and can be disassembled quickly. Hell I can enamel it white, anyway to my question...

Here is the thing, the interior is only 2'1" x 3'11" x 5'11"H. That makes having a 400w air-cooled HPS and an air filtration system damn near imposable! With the extra fan, reflector and ducting, it's just too much money.

But I do have a 200w CFL (with a perfectly fine reflector) and 4, 4' T5-HO single-bulb light strips that I used to use as supplemental lighting vertically on walls. If I added a good reflective material to the walls, would that be enough light for some really good bud?

I have only ever used 600w HPS for flowering before (I'm scaling down big time) and I have no idea how much fluorescent light I would need. Could a 250w HPS/CMH do the trick with the T5 bulbs? I could afford that.

Thanks Guys! Scaling down usually isn't my goal but my electric bill sucks! :wall:

those fucking things killed 3 of my grows and most distributors are switching to Secred Jardin brand... and that doesn't come in the dimensions I need. I want the shed, its the lighting I'm unsure about.

I think a 250 watt hps will serve you better than all the flourescents you can get in there. Using the flouros for side lighting is a great idea. I think you have plenty of room in there to make a very respectable grow.

every leaf that touched that plastic died and took the plants with it... plus it had a LOT of light leaks. Secret Jardin won't show up on a thermal scan either, so thats a plus for them... they just make metric sizes so it's not right for my space. I did like the one I had though, and great customer service.

Won't show up on thermal imaging? I gotta call bs on this one. *OR* its gonna cook your plants. Heat needs to be somewhere.

Or the thermal imaging is BS all together (most likely)
