I know that the majority of folk take cuttings with at least 3 nodes, so we will roughly say 3-5 inch cuttings. i would like to know what the longest cutting anyone has ever took and successfully got it to take root. i want to know because i would like to make my clones as big as I can. i know to not try and clone woody stalks but that is not what im getting at. just seems like the better thing to do as long as it roots in the same time as the lil ones.. anyone ?

it depends on your end goal, i have gotten 10" clones to root but they tend to stretch more during rooting than smaller clones. most people want to start with shorter more compact plants thus the smaller clones. also larger clones have much more plant material to support without roots
