What’s the general opinion on Humidity packs?

I see a few different brands of these two way humidity packs. Boveda seem to be the most common, also see Integra.

There seems to be a range of them, 55-58-62% humidity.

Are they worth chucking in my jars? I have 17 different plants coming down this grow and just finishing up drying and jarred earliest couple today. Think I’ve over dried a tad.

Need the bud in decent shape as im sharing it out with a few other growers so we can select which clones to keep out of the 17z

I would usually just burp once a day for 2-3 weeks. Maybe once a week after for a few weeks then leave it be.

Do you put these packs in forever? Or only for as long as you would burp etc?

Any downsides?

thanks,

Once you put the packs in its a wrap. Burping unnecessary, so have your buds cured to what you want. When u use the packets for long term storage, I get the big one, throw it 8n a bucket or 2 gallon ziploc. 2 qt or bigger jars can use a medium one. Use them until they dry out, get like concrete, throw them out. Takes a while
Downside is loss of taste/smell, which is not a lot but noticable.
All in all, that are an awesome product and once you get used to them, you'll probably not look back.
As I mentioned, long term storage, you may want to keep some separate for head stash that's cured and burped, in the end, saves a lot of time and effort.
Jmho...
