not like a idoit i do that some times before i dry it ...........it does help but not as much as u think
drying the water travels down the stem to the flowers then those release humidy to the air and with what u did makes it pass little faster ...that is why 50% RH is the golden number the water passes out just at the right amount 40 and below comes out to fast and has a hay smell and 60 and up it is slow and at those range mold can attach and grow quickly wrecking it all

ok when u go out
get a dehumidifier (if it is a large room think about a 32/70 pint one ) and u can buy one of those meters

any day that meter is above 55% add on 24 more hours to dry it ..........if u can keep the RH at 50% and lay it down the weed is safe to jarr and cure in 7 days (it is how i do it repeated now for 2 years no issues)
but with it hanging like that ..........10 days minimal once the RH is controlled.......u said 5 days figure u are at about 3 days with 81% rh

it is not the best idea but u know those portable heater that have a electric coil that they use to heat theair with a fan
one of those turned on low will drop the RH but the heat it makes needs to be watched anything about 80f degrades thc faster

I have a portable heater but it doesn't have a coil thing. I have one that just gives off heat and u can set it at different temps. 65, 70,75 etc. I can go get a dehumidifier at the hardware store tomorrow. Will the heater work for tonight? If so what setting do y'all think?

that is the one i use to control the whole area i use for growth flower and veggie .......11x12 room
if u like it u can order it and have shipped to the local walmart ..........the heater will drop that 2% pretty fast
it depends some of the new ones are IR heaters those are not like the coil ones
ok we are about to go redneck .........your safest hair dryier hang it low to the ground turn on medium ...........walk away for 30 mins come back check the RH it might work .......will work in a smaller area but a large room

it is the fact the coils heat up and the air passes over it ........the moisture in the air is removed by the heat of the coil .....turns into dry air
if u have electrical baseboard heating those will lower the RH in a room

Lmao, I was gonna say this damn red neck town doesn't have any stores open to get one but didn't wanna offend. Lol. I can get one tomorrow, our Walmart is a small one. This town sucks! Been here 19 years, and more than happy to be getting out. Wanted to raise my kids in a small town school but my baby just graduated and is off to university so I'm OWWWWT. I love in Sw Oregon but from orange county CA. It's crazy small minded here! I do have a little fan with a blower come to think of it! Do I set it on low? Do I still use the fan I've got going in there?

more power to yah i am in bumfuck maryland where they find me i get 25 to life for growing and having a gun in the house
yes on the low .......but u will need to look at the temp in about 30 45 mins make sure not getting up to high
and yes on the fan still on .....air movement is important it lets the water exchange out to the air quicker more even dry (like a tabacco barn)
right now the resin glands are swelling with the last of the water they are still maturing ........if the temp gets above 80 F to long those milky ones turn amber
milky is active running around weed
amber is more couch locking stuff

set the heater to low for now and check it in 30/45 mins .....if the RH has dropped but not enough and the temp are still low u can try medium
and yes keep the other fan going
