I've heard that miracle grow has been too hot and has shocked some plants...others have had great success... to me that says that it's probly a little too hott for marijuana growing...

I've heard great things about Fox Farms Ocean Forest, but it's kindof pricey.

I use premier pro mix and mix it up with the local sphagnum peat moss that's in the nearby bog (70/30) I get 7-8 footers with my mix, and around a pound per plant.

miracle grow rocks!!!!!!!! i'm using fox farms and miracle grow with equal results.:blsmoke::peace:
The first year I grew indoors I used the cheapest soil-less mix I could find and mixed it with perlite. I used the red and blue Miracle Gro granular type nutes.
The second year indoors I used the Fox Farm soil and Fox Farm Tri-pack nutes...I could not tell a bit of difference.
Long story short...Don't use potting soil, that shit turns to mud...use soil-less mix. Always start your nutes at 1/4 strength.
This year will be my 1st real grow outdoors. I had planned on using 5 gallon buckets but have decided to grow in the ground. The pics I see of inground plants look outstanding. Although our resident Badass FDD has some pics of monsters in pretty small looking containers. His threads and pics have lit a fire under my ass. Am I rambling? Somebody stop me.

i recently bought some soil at lowes called Jungle Growth. Its a soil mix with peatmoss, perlite, vermiculite, lime, composte aged pine bark, and horticulture grade hardwood charcoal. I think it should work out pretty good so far the plants like it.

miracle grow is awsome stuff i don't give a fuck what anybody sais, ive used miracle grow nutes along side advanced nutrients along with others.....and miracle grow is just as good if not better. ive also used miracle grow soil and that shit worked wonders. but hey what do i know im still a noob to these guys, ive got like 12 +reps but it don't show up in theose little green squares >.> i agree with 4cyl5spd pro mix is the best of the best, get the microise and fungocde and mixe em both together in the same big hole. you'll have monster healthy plants.

hope this helps bro.
