i have doen this to and only to people who had 1st gave me permission, those grow shops can lose buissness if the companies that supplied them found out, kinda like sunlight supply.
its more of a respect thing for them, would you like some one to come to your work and ask you about marijuana legal or not?

online is a bigger rip! You pay 12-15 per bottle then 20 or 30 i shipping. so in end you pay 60 bucks for a 12 dollar bottle of ferts... i hate online because the shipping costs are crazy
most grow shops are a rip off any way, better off finding it online, if you mean a shop to buy meds then most of them have closed, im sure you can find one theri though, people seem to think they can open them with out any probs, theri is a new one in GP again and soon it will be shut down. its not hard to tell when some one is doing wrong

some online places yes they are, you just got to shop around to get the best deals. in 3 years i have never seen a complete 600 watt grow light, ballast, bulb, cords, reflector every thing you need for 200 bucks, not once, all local stores sell them for much more, some times online is better some times not. ive never had to pay that much shipping thoguh

I go to the garden spout as well... the guys there are amazing.

They have been in our shoes (in front of and behind the counter).

Talk about building relationships... you can go in there with any questions or concerns and if they dont know they answer they will actually research the shit out of it and find out (but usually between the 7ish guys that work there... there is so much knowledge. wow :D)

the garden spout is the place to go. if they dont have what you need, you probably shouldn't even be buying it.

eaveononrails is right, the guys there really do know their stuff.

Any one been ever been to evergreen garden supply. I was looking on CL for a used / cheap ballast then came across their ads of 65$ for a hortilux hps bulb and a buy one get one free on the ballast they carry. Something about a Half yearly sale for the whole month. looks like they are battling indoor garden depot because they posted a hortilux bulb for 69$. Anyone have any experience with these stores.

You guys should check out Pharmer Hydroponics in Tualatin. The prices are really good and they will also work with you on the price to beat the competitors and if they don't stock what you're looking for they usually get it for you by next day. I've ordered stuff before from places like Indoor Hydroponics on 185th in Aloha and it took over 2 weeks to get my stuff.
