You mean we have to post pics of what we are going to eat?

Wow, this is a tough thread.

Full rack of pork ribs (at least 10'' wide), baked potatoe and steamed carrots with mayonaise and real hot sauce for whatever pleases.

It's not necessary but some people like to show some of us on here the awesome stuff that they're cooking.

You're playing a game of Russian Roulette. What are you going to do when your blood sugar drops so low that you're too weak or confused to help yourself? You need to take better care of yourself and maybe schedule an appointment with a dietician that specializes in Diabetes. I mentioned an insulin pump before. It sure takes that hassle out of giving yourself shots. You just test your blood and the tester sends the information to the pump which gives you the insulin automatically. Plus it's real easy to use the pump manually to bolus.

I don't know what kind of insurance you have or don't have but you might want take a serious look at it. Changing the tubing and cartridges is a snap. I just don't know about affordability. My mom is diabetic and she has the pump. Her insurance covers the cost of the pump supplies. Dude, once again, take better care of yourself. That's the only body you have. :)

I'm making cottage pie. I sautéed one onion in half cube melted butter in large skillet. Once onions were translucent I added carrots (1/2 cup) and 1 lb ground beef. I cook until brown. Then I add 1/2 TBS Worcestershire sauce and 1/2 cup beef consommé. Simmer for 5 minutes. I let cook for at least 10 minutes after adding peas, french cut green beans and fresh peas (1/2 cup each). I then add salt, pepper, thyme, sage, basil and parsley (how much depends on your tastebuds). In the meantime I boiled 6 potatoes in salted water for 20 minutes. After draining I added 1/2 stick butter, milk, salt and pepper to taste and mash well. put meat/vegetable mix in casserole dish and then cover with mashed potatoes similar to icing a cake. Fluff with fork to get peaks in the mashed potatoes. This creates a nice crust over the dish. Place in pre-heated 400 degree oven for 30 minutes or until potatoes are a nice golden brown. Enjoy!
