What's For Dinner Tonight?

I made green chili burritos for tonight:

1.5 lbs. Hamburger finely chopped

4 lbs. medium sized pods roasted hatch green chilis peeled and seeded and finely minced.

5 cloves garlic finely minced

salt and pepper to taste

Flour tortillas and butter/margarine

Brown hamburger in medium size sauce pan. Brown and finely chop. Let meat brown for 2-3 minutes. Just long enough for the juices in the meat to be released. Add finely minced garlic and chili and mix thoroughly. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook until meat is thoroughly cooked. Warm up tortillas (I heat mine in the oven on the rack) and butter one side when warmed up. Place tortilla on plate and fill with meat mixture on buttered side. Roll up tortilla and serve.
Yum. You can cook in my kitchen anytime. No kidding.

Last night: Steamed pork and shrimp dumplings, mu shu chicken and nasturtium salad with strawberry vinaigrette and fresh strawberries pieces. The beverage was sparkling apple cider (non-alcoholic of course). Y'all need to invest in a bamboo steamer. They are amazing.

Tonight will be pot roast with fingerling potatoes, baby carrots, pearl onions, whole clove garlic, and celery. The pot roast will be embedded with garlic and onion chips and then seared in olive oil on all sides. Then I will salt and pepper the roast and place in oven for two hours on 375. After two hours I will add vegetables and place thermometer in roast. usually 1 to 2 hours later the roast will reach the desired temperature in the center and will be removed, sliced and devoured (hopefully in that order). I anticipate at least 10 people tonight. They always smell the food and come running.

I just got through putting together a five cheese/five vegetable lasagna. It's baking in the oven as I type. I've had this before an it's absolutely delicious. :)

The five cheeses were mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, parmesan and romano cheese and the vegetables were spinach, zucchini, summer squash, broccoli, and carrots.

I have no idea ... Don't feel like cooking
Thinking about ordering Chinese food soooo

Salt and pepper chicken, shrimp fried rice, broccoli beef, and salt and pepper shrimp.

Yea that sounds like the plan.
