Whats eaten this!!!???

http://imgur.com/a/N7Au8 Please help. This seedling was about 4 inch tall , in an area of woodland surrounded by nettles. What ate them? Slugs , bugs rabbits? the other day i checked, just the tips of the leaves where gone , thought nothing off it . Now there gone!

I think its slug , i saw some substance on the leaves that looks like a slug trail

Never delt with them so early.....I heard a barrier of lime around them would help....honestly depending on where they are I would put some wire around them, I've had deer eat mine when they were small.

rabbits ,cats, small rodents, and cicada's lol screen it up and pray .. i have had 6 eaten this year so far. there gurilla grows so i can't bitch but so much..

slugs .............get a bowl open a beer take 2 gulps fill the bowl leave it near the plant............do not ask me it works i learned it from my mom in veggie garden as a child

animals...........u have several choices of stuff on the market to make them stay away (if it is in a pot put moth balls in a cirlce around the area ) temp fix untill u can order some real repelant

bugs.............u want the pepper spray of death .......or nicotine poison (used on roses)
