Whatever Happened to Bubblegum?

I'm not talking about the crosses you can buy off the internet. I'm talking about the original Bubblegum that used to be grown in the Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky area of the USA during the seventies. Why am I not able to purchase seeds of the original?

Serious Seeds has a bubblegum from an inbred line (meaning the traits of the real bubblegum which simon of serious seeds favors most are those most likely in his seeds)

But why haven't we been able to buy it for all this time? Did the guerilla growers simply stop growing it or something? If so, what are the chances of TH Seeds having the real deal instead of another cross?

Not sure tbh, but if you ask me they're just adding the pre 92 name tag to the already existing bubblegum just to sell more of the seeds, as I'm pretty sure the original BG was stolen from Adam at THSeeds ages ago too.

No no, its the real thing. By Inbred it means Simon from Serious Seeds bred Two F1's (or Fsomethings) against eachother without adding anything himself. Its the real Bubblegum from Indiana US, but it was bred from either seeds or clones sent to Amsterdam. Some of this could be wrong, but that is what i've deduced from what i've read. Its just further down the F* line than the original seeds would have been.

i got some purp bubblegum found growing in my yard. If it smells and taste like bubble gum that means bubble gum is in it. Lol the seeds online are more than likely the same product. What would be the difference

I agree with tardis, Simon should have the real Bubblegum.
Suposed to be a heavy yielder, seen it out yield Cronic in a grow here once.

I hear you got to cure it realy slow to get the gum taste strong.

I got a bunch of bubble gum crosses to try lol.
Bubblegummer, Blueberry gum, Bubba kush.

Hello,

We have 6 bubble gum from Serious seeds in veg stage. We will be able to give more informations about it once we start our next round. They are waiting for the current crop to be done. They smell good i can tell!

I've bought the T.H.Seeds version as it's more indica. I don't do sativa dom. I've been told it's a nice smoke though.
