What would happen if everyone suddenly grows and have a stand?

Hey guys,

So what would happen if everything starts growing weed, planned. Im talking about every person that smokes in the world and have a stand. Strike from work, have a parade or stand.
Can they possibly arrest everyone if they stand together? From celebs, athletes, to students, to millonnairs and billonnaires, doctors, postal service and everyone else.

I know everyone isn't that passionate about weed. But wouldn't it be great?
I know its not as simple as said and its a bit of a fantasy, but I hope one day something like this happens. So we can get medical marijuana at least, and some coffee shops.

if we the people stood up together yes we could legalize it but there is other wayz than what you have said. You can vote for a party that will legalize weed like ndp or green party. but this is in canada and im no expert on foriegn policys and partys.

power is nothing without support
every person who smoked weed lit up in front of a cop and went to jail it would expose how shitty the system was because rapists crack dealers, murderers etc. woulds still be on the streets killing, raping, stealing, killing while a pothead is in jail
unfortunately propaganda is one hell of a tool

Where I live you actually get a stiffer penalty for controlled substances that you do for murder. Some bitch killed all 3 of her kids and got 5 years for it. Other people get caught with weed and get 10 or more years for it. What a fucked up system. Kill all you want, just don't smoke weed. WTF?

A little off topic but San Francisco has a bill on the ballot to decriminalize prostution. I guess they are going to save 11 million a year by not investigating and trying to bust hookers. Maybe that will lead to governments not wanting to spend so much money to fight a plant.

They'll have to give sooner or later, they're all broke. The bugets can't afford the salaries and pensions and the wars on hookers and drugs.

The problem with the legalization of marijuana is that it is not a big issue right now. The U.S. is faced with a huge debt, a economy falling into a depression, war, relations abroad, and a new election. With everything that is going on do you think that anyone in power would even begin to start thinking of legalizing marijuana, probably not.

This is a problem. Therefore, I think instead of continuing to try and simply just legalize marijuana, I believe we need to make it a bigger issue than it is.

On the contrary to that last point by whiterain, now is an ideal time to try to get it decriminalized or legalized. The government needs all the new revenue streams it can get to fund that bailout and all the other things it wastes money on. What better way than to legalize marijuana and tax it like alcohol and cigarettes.

better to ram it down the systems throat. march to the authorities with a joint and turn ourselves in on mass and plead not guilty and defend ourselves. that would be a force that would shut most of it down cause the system is based on hiring lawyers and the rest of it

If they decriminalize think of all the money they'll save from not trying to fight it. That's a lot of cash. Combine that with the tax dollars they'll pull in, it's adding up pretty good now. If they are worried about not being able to screw the home grower out of tax dollars they could sell a gardening license.

Pretty soon pot is helping pull us out of this giant debt the country is in.

Can they just shut the water off to an entire complex like that? I would think there would be some kind of rule or law against that. Maybe the water company should put in individual meters so each tenant can pay their own.

Oh yes, and the answer to "what is the government doing? " is they are bailing out the people who give them gifts, kickbacks and bribes and letting the rest of us wash on down the river. Fun isn't it?

it fuckin sucks and u think the law would be in our favor but if we are here wednesday we're tresspassing, if this goes through they will shut of the water, not the cable, not the electricity, just the water and we have to get the hell out.

and i fuckin hate how the people who make this country are overlooked 4 the people who manipulate it

i'm about to move back to england cuz of bullshit like this, or canada, but right now i'm just planning 2 get back 2 the bronx
