Cannabis shares mono and sesquiterpenes with a panoply of other plants, and the levels of each varies considerably by strain. Some are heavy in pinene, and some do not.

A well made concentrate, mimics its source, so I would pick a strain I liked the taste of more.

You can generally reduce terpene levels with heat and vacuum, or through winterization with ethanol, but selectively choosing which one gets more complicated and equipment intensive.

A molecular still will separate the monoterpenes from the diterpene cannabinoids, but separating them from one another is above my pay grade, because of how close some of the boiling pints are, and how aromatics sublimate below boiling points.

Perhaps one of the forums organic chemistry majors could pipe in here???

Also just so you guys know. The oil I'm making now doesn't taste half as piney lol. The problem was I burnt the first batch and that's why it was so damn piney lol. There still some pine flavor but not like before

Its was a previous comment. Alpha pinine. Its a turpine that causes the pine flavor. What I did was roast off all the only Turpin's which only left the alpha pinine turpine. The pine flavor. While all the other Turpin's where burnt off :/
