Speaking of fast cars, I'm seriously thinking of selling my hotrod. Got about 20K invested and over 1,000 hours, will take 10K cash, just want out. I'm thinking of getting a ZO6 instead. I'm tired of crawling around on my back in the garage, although 99% of that work is done. We'll see, I've advertised it for sale on one of my car sites. I get bored with things pretty easy. Don't know how I've put up with my wife all these years, maybe it is her that has had to put up with me.

It's kind of hard to compare $100,000 to $540 Vi. Nice try though . . .
Well, you're kinda behind the times with that 100k figure, NG.

I think before the election was over the Dems had the cost of Palin's wardrobe up to $150,000 ... even though they were never privy to seeing the bill. That's nothing new for the Dems though. They usually spout off with their emotion without really knowing the facts of the case.

Here are two of the bills, I agree $150k is probably an inflated figure.

According to financial disclosure records, the accessorizing began in early September and included bills from Saks Fifth Avenue in St. Louis and New York for a combined $49,425.74.

The records also document a couple of big-time shopping trips to Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis, including one $75,062.63 spree in early September.
