What to do with hermies.

Almost 3 weeks into flower and I see one of em has grown some balls. My gut says to pull it but I keep reading that you can just cut the pollen sacks off, is it really worth it? I figure that the sacks could just pop as you're cutting them and ruin my other plant so I'm really hesitant. View attachment 2746446View attachment 2746447View attachment 2746448

very carefully pluck those suckers off and keep an eye out for more. Best advice I can give ya.

depends on how serious it is. sometimes they just push out one or two which can be dealt with, other times they produce cluster fucks all over multiple bud sites making it possible but very tedious to deal with

you can seperate it and collect the pollen in a ziplock. later with a q-tip you can later dip it in the pollen then rub it on selected pistils and make your own seeds in that one cola not the whole plant. selective breeding

make hash or cookies/browines

Are you sure there Ball's? maybe swollen calyx's, Can you get some pic's?

It's not a cluster fuck persay but there's a few of em all over the place. How badly will it seed the bud if it pops? I would hate to go through the effort of chopping them just to miss one and ruin my crop.

looks more like a full blown male to me i see no calyxes hermies usualy have some type of hairs on them?

It has hairs all over the place but why would I take a picture of them? Lol they're not what I'm concerned about.

Ya that defiantly has balls Are you sure it not just a male plant I don't see any signs of it being a female/Hermi Sorry after looking at the pic's again I think I see a white hair so It looks like you have yourself a Herm ............

Yes it's definitely a hermie. It's mostly pistols there's just balls on some branches, I didn't take pictures of the pistols because they're not what I'm worried about.

If the smoke is for you and you don't care about sinsemilla, then pull off what you can and don't worry about it. There will be nothing wrong with the smoke -- you'll just have to sieve out the seeds before rolling. Just like in the old days.

So it'll just be a few seeds not full of them? I guess I can deal with that to get a whole other plants worth of harvest.

I throw them in the compost pile.

I have 2 plants that came from my previous plant which hermied on me so I decided to grow them and the are showing signs of female I'm getting white lil hairs everywhere, so I would keep the seeds and when u decide to grow do so and be sure to not stress it at all or you'll have more chance of getting another herm or male

if you keep it, it will be a lot of work, it takes daily checks to keep under control
and you probably will eventually miss a few, some seeds are likely
a spray mist bottle is a useful tool, wet pollen dies very fast, mist a ripe looking flower before plucking at it
