Hi calicat, yes aboslutely indica dominant. Could be kush, skunk or something else but what I know is that she is going to be very productive and hopefully the smoking will be excellent. :weed:
Indica dominate you can tell with the leaf pattern and of course the stature. Really nice .

dont bother u cannot tell strain unless u get it labeled...even when its done u cant be sure because ud have to grow it just like the breader did to get exact results

Just took a pic of one of my plants ( it's now over 5 feet in height and even larger in girth, filled with buds and trychs. Here's a close up showing signs that it could be a Purple Kush.

Lol, one more vote for Swamp Ass OG.

Imo there are hundreds of strains, most of them frivolous. Since the only real axis of difference is sativa/indica, assigning a strain to a bagseed grow is more or less arbitrary. There's no standardization as has occurred in more mature traditions such as viticulture. So ... might as well have fun. cn

Of course, you are correct ... but it doesn't hurt to try and learn by observation, comparison and reading up on strains, in fact it's actually a lot of fun for me. I don't need to be right, or certainly not, become an expert. What I'm doing is expanding my understanding at present and if I think my plant may be showing signs ( even if it is from bag seed ) of being a Purple Kush, it's because some clues point in that general direction, because there's some wishful thinking and basically because I'm having fun. Of course, it's all totally arbitrary and that's ok too. I know next to nothing about growing or strains yet and trying to figure out things is part and parcel of any learning experience, therefore I embrace it. So, I am having fun and enjoying it all.

Sad news :

Yesterday, just after dinner time, our neighbor came over to warn us that a teenage acquaintance of her son boosted to him that he noticed the two plants growing in our backward and that he was going to steal them during the night. It didn't matter how upset I felt or how on the verge of tears I was, I knew this would now happen and I had not real recourse other than the evident one and so, from 8:30pm, my partner and I went out into the garden and chopped off both plants, brought them indoors and I proceeded to hang all the branches and trim stuff.

Now I know it will never be the great smoke I was expecting but I know it will still be good ( I had recently sampled buds from both plants ). I'm now looking into starting an indoor grow room and eliminate such heart ripping ordeals. :(

We harvested a bit early because of the threat of having them stolen ( I would give a ruffian like that the satisfaction of even the smallest bud, lol ), placed everything up on cord lines in a dark room with dehumidifier and fan going. After doing the trimming, I rolled a small ball of scissor hash and we smoked that in a pipe, WOW, what a super head high that lasted well over 2 hours. I'M sure the smoke will still be strong as I had already sampled some bud from a week before and it was yummy. Indoor grow from now on. :)

Buds.jpg This is waht I was able to get from harvesting my plants some 4-5 weeks before their time. At least the would be thief didn't get his greedy little hands on any, not even a single bud.

So after letting them dry and cure for 3 plus weeks, yesterday I weighted them with a proper scale and I have just over a pound of dry bud plus 10+ grams of bubble bag H. Not too shabby for ahving to harvest them too early.
Nice!! Do you know what it weighed?
