Read up first. Then decide on size of tent. You can find a complete kit which takes out a lot of hassle, but you'll do better quality wise if you buy it piece by piece. Make sure you leave some $ for nutrients, beanz, etc.

Read and research. Google will give you more answers than you will ever get here.

With that being said, what space do you have to work with? Do you want to grow in soil or hydro?

$600 can go a long way.

I would get a 4x4 tent, 600w HPS light system, 6" exhaust fan and carbon filter for the smell.

If you want a quick turn around time you can fit 9-12 plants and flip lights to 12/12 after 2 weeks.

If you want to try and grow a monster you can do 1 plant and veg it for 8-10 weeks with LST and Scrog.

You can yield about a pound either way if you do it right.

All depends on your space, the setup Joey mentioned would be the best for the money. Or u could put a 400w hid in that 2x4 tent u posted above.(or get a dimmable ballast that supports both hps and mh) I don't have any input about that led, I would start with hid (u would be starting with a proven And true light) as long as you have proper ventilation

I have plenty of space, but do not understand how plants need only 2 weeks before you can switch the light.
do not plant at least 3 weeks before you see the sexs ? and the lights should I switch to?

Everything's preference. You can switch the light whenever u want depending on what size plants u want in the end. Also u don't need to know the sex if u get feminized seeds or clones.

I will go with 4x4 .you have a recommendation on both the lights ? and ventilation ? and tents cheap?

and if you are interested I can pay you a bit to skayp . to get advice from you. I am I use google translate. I'm much better to speak English

The fan/filter seems ok.
I can't comment on the light.
My first tent was the same size. If you can go up to 6' then do it. 5' really limits you. Also, if appr 8sq/ft is the size then I'd look into a 3'x3' instead. I know this because I just upgraded my 2x4x5 to a 3x3x6. I have a 600w hps/mh and cool tube

If u are going to get a 4x4 the 600w hps/mh would do good. I would recommend a cooltube with an adjustable inline fan to keep temps down. Deffinately check out that website listed above and do lots of research. No I dont have Skype. And u should pay anybody on here. Don't forget these are all random strangers opinions! Do the research. Im no expert but U can PM me anytime. Good luck

This is why we say over and over...

Read. Read. Read..... until your eyes fucking bug out bro.... sleep.... THEN READ MORE!

Do not even sprout your first seed until you know exactly HOW the plant grows, what common problems to look for, ad how they present themselves, and have a game plan from seed to jars, know what you will be doing at each stage.

Then get the gear. Set it up, be ready.

THEN start growing.

Don't try diving in head first, its harder, its unfair to the grower and the plant, and will only cost more in the end.

As far as lights, fans, and water, go big, bigger than you need, and just tone it down. Run a 440+ cfm fan on your lights+filter set, if its too loud, get a speed controller. Get a 600w switchable dimmable light kit (I like ipower for starter kits, bulbs arent too shabby, and the ballasts are decent, replacements a breeze if a warrantied one fails) as well as either a T5, or a 125w CFL grow light for seedlings....

You must decide early on dirt or hydro (or organic, but thats not a for starters thing)

READ READ READ... then plan. Then execute plan.

I have accumulated so much shit trying to do it the cheaper way, trying to make the easy method work, trying to cheat the system.... Now I need to rape the LetGo page with a bunch of old shitty equipment.

Lights, air(fans), and water... dont fuck around with

Nutes, that you can fuck with.... you dont need super expensive nutes, you dont need 1200ppm, you dont need fancy shit... save money on nutes.

Tents are great for controlling the environment, but remember to keep the room its in cooled. That light needs to exhaust out somewhere, and the replacement air coming in must be cool, or the tent becomes an oven.

Also remember man this is gardening not rocket science man is easy simple and should be fun read and learn but don't try to get into any advanced shit at first you'll read so much bull shit saying you need to do this and that but you don't need to its just a plant man learn it's basic needs and you'll be soild

my first run was epic, took me ages to get back to it, lol. (First was a clone of a jack herer, dropped in a 5gal bucket of happy frog with holes drilled at the bottom.... fucker was over 5oz and was mindblowing... almost disabling, lol.

That said, I found happy frog to be.. ... i dunno... water repellant? it beads, runs off/thru and drains out, but leaves dryness all over...
Roots organic... burns the fuck our of anything I put in it, that shit is powerful... (Obviously great for topping off)

I ended up with cloth pots, 5-7gal range, mixing happy frog with roots, and tossing in a bit of extra perlite..... You have to water til its soaked thru n thru... but the drainage is intense, so you drench it daily. (Can re use this at time using the runoff to finish the watering cycle) I ended up adding small amounts of nutes near the middle of flower.

If you are planning on prepping next year crop, start up a compost bin, and start making dirt :)
