What seed bank, strain, and breeder for beginner?

Hello I am trying to create a legitimate cfl grow.

I am a beginner, I have done my research and am ready to go. Just curious on peoples opinions on what bank and strain I should go with. I was told not to do autos, and to do feminized.

I was thinking of going with nirvana, opinions?
I also was looking at the 65 watt cfl as they have good wattage and are same smaller size as the 26 watt..

I've done CFL grows, so here's my 2cents.
100W (real) minimum for one plant, and at least an additional 50W for every extra plant. Use a 3:1 ratio of 6500K to 3000K for Veg and the other way around for Flower. Many smaller bulbs are better than one large.

First grow? Got bag-seed?
Dirt - I highly recommend a product that says something like "professional growing substrate"
Don't over-water

Have fun

probably need....minimum of 2 26 cfl watt bulbs for every cubic foot... which would equate to 3000 lumens per cubic foot... Otherwise you will have a bunch of twigs and leafy bud.... your bulb probably produces anywhere from 4200-7000 lumens, depending on how good it is. I would say your lighting is more important when you are in flower and you should have mostly 2700K bulbs for colour... also make sure you have a fan blasting your plant from day one....
it would also be easiest if you just were to use a t5 light, (especially for veg)... they are like 35 bucks and give you the exact light you need... pet stores also carry them for an inflated price.

I would also scour any second hand store, habitat for humanity, value village, for light fixtures, fans, and other various supplies... depends on where you live you may or may not be able to purchase things like fans during certain times of the year.... I learned that the hard way one winter in up here in bc... the only fans i could find had a heater attached to them...

Seed banks I would just make sure you are purchasing from a reputable seller... wouldn't want to give just anyone my information. I buy seeds from bc seed bank or vancouver seed bank if that helps...

most seed banks will have a description of what to expect with the strain... if you are gonna grow indoors, in a small space, I would look for a strain that can be topped multiple times, like a blueberry. I currently cant' think of another strain at the moment but there are more... The more top colas you can make in a micro cab the better

I would do hps and the veg one but im nervous about..ill come out and be honest anf say it is illegal to grow where I do and thats why im using cfl.
Can I run a couple car battery to hps lights?

Do t5 really work? I might get one of those with cfl covering dark areas I think thatd work well..?

If your grow isn't big, the power company won't even notice.
400W is what, equivalent to a PC?
My power usage averages @ $100/mo, not even a blip on the radar.

Car battery - No.

T5 - Yes.

so about your actual question and not your lighting.... You may want to look into Provision Seeds. Great customer service, they will hook you up. They have a pretty good selection of other breeders but their genetics are top quality and all feminized at the moment. They are currently running a promo for rollitup users and have a presence on this site so they can definitely be trusted. The promo is a free regular seed of a new strain of theirs for every feminized Provision seed you get. So 5 of their Deep Purple Kush would get you 5 free regular seeds. Shipping is discreet and pretty speedy. The longest its taken is 11 days from order for me on the east coast, they're based in Canada. Plenty of payment options, I prefer paypal since its the easiest but they have cash payment options I believe. I'll post a link of the promo for you I just need to find it in another thread

Post the link. Im going to order some from them for sure, im counting on you!! Lol im playin. Thanks for your time.

So using T5 along with cfls would be a nice set up? Also, I see most cfl users use 26 watt..if I could combat the heat from 42 watt bulbs wouldn't those work better??

And with t5 you can veg then change bulb ans flower correct? Why dont I see more ppl using t5?
