"North Central" is what professional linguists call the Minnesota accent. If you saw "Fargo" you probably didn't think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot.

I have a very unique distinctive accent. One would know immediately where I'm from. Shit, I've said too much already.

Unmistakeable North London accent. People guess all the time that I'm a Londoner. Except the Spanish- to their ears I just sound English.

Funny how I am told by my Southern Cousins that I have an accent... though I sound like all the newscasters on TV... no accent that I can tell-- UNTIL.. let me spend 3-5 MINUTES with anyone from 'down South" and I am drawling like you wouldn't believe-- and don't even know it!
I come from a long Line of South Carolina and Mississippi Folks- and Lived a year or so in Houston Tx... so pick it up fast!

New Mexico accent. I don't know how else to describe it. Sometimes I sound Latino, sometimes I sound Native, most of the time I sound like an old western.

kinda like a fortune cookie :eyesmoke:
"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.
