Looks pretty good value but I'd order more panda plastic(stuff I got with my kit let loads of light through) or even better is the diamond Mylar I replaced it with.

You might want to check out Green's Horticulture for a comparison as they've got 10% off orders over £300 at the moment and 10% off NFT grow tanks too.

If you want digital ballasts check out Greenfields Hydroponics, they're selling 600W Lumatek digitals for £130 at the moment (RRP aprx £160).

The only thing with these (the Growtanks), is they're not suitable for use with plants that have no roots outside of the cube without turning the pump off and hand watering from above, so not really good for what you want. IMHO you'd be better of with an aero setup for babies.

Thanks for your input, Im going to give it a try with a drip system then work my way towards an aeroponics sytem.
