funny how it all works out. Heath, and one of my fave growers ole Krusty the Clown did the same thing although Krusty was just a grower, Heath has a big following and put out some fire. Both just walked away from the game, Heath after he had kids, Krusty I think just moved on, lol. Crazy how that works, ain't it? Bodhi gets the same knock he got yrs ago, potency. Maybe the black triangle or other stuff may be stronger, but that was the knock 10 yrs ago and seems to be mentioned here again. I have to agree with some, I grew the ancient and gojis out, just wasn't strong enough meds. But the karma is there. And ya gotta love bog, gettin a pack or two of white label bubblegum and look what he did with it. I think that's why everyone thinks they can do it too, with one pack, etc. Miss ole Heath and that Dr Chronic site bad. Doc Chronic would send full packs of freebies, even after an order, just because. I got a pack of serious bubblegum one time, two weeks after I'd already got my order, and I emailed and said hey man, I think an order got mixed up or something, but I can't take these I didn't pay for em. He said naw man, you a good customer, they're yours. Ah, the good old days.

It's crazy how 1 person can have shit luck with a breeder or a line while another grower finds gold.

It's hard to quantify quality of a breeder overall. Though some have shitty reps for good reason. Like cali con, for sure dude puts out shit but also some really nice cuts came out of his work. Same with DNA, I had a kick ass sour kosher with top potency and flavor but bitch always threw nanners around week 6-7 though its pollen was non viable. Tossed her but hated doing it but couldnt use her to breed with so fuck it.

Then with cannaventure, I found 1 really nice lvtk the the next 4 plants all threw balls. The lemon crash was looking on point too up till the balls dropped. Still gonna hunt through the l crash, arcata ghost and skunk for sure though.

Then there is nirvana, Ive found 3-4 really nice phenos out of like 100+ beans but the keepers where just as good as anything else Ive ran.

Its all a gamble but definitely certain breeders improve your odds or vice versa!

Heath was around on IC a year or so ago, he was still growing just staying out of the spotlight.

cool, that was 10 yrs ago or so last i heard. IG becoming to much like craigslist live or something, not on much and didnt think to look him up, thanks. I do see Foe20 on there though, but he not quite as friendly or forgot some of his friends cept mota since his lil incident. Poor cat believe tony sagamartha too much, lol. Didn't fare well for him Ima thinkin.

Ole Foe20......yeah. I'm not callin him out or anything like that. You folks know me by now, BUT, I gotta tell ya that when dude got out, I approached him and gave him my "spread the love" treatment. I offered him everything that I had of his to help him on his new start, was promised a bunch of things in return, didn't get not ONE seed in return. It's ok though, I don't help folks because I want something , but when ya promise, and don't follow through, it becomes a thing of principal.Oh yeah, I forgot about the pics or it didn't happen creed........lol.
Pay no mind to the time stamp on the seed pack pic, someone was interested in a trade for Foe20 seeds and I took a pic of the packs, trade didn't happen, so I sent Foe20 the same pic. And sent him everything ya see in the pic. He was VERY happy to get the genetics back, and he did say thank you........sooooo I reckon that should suffice.

you said it, @Useful Seeds. Traded and conversed with the guy for yrs, and also contacted after the vacay, and he acted like he didn't know me. No biggie, but when mota and dman both in the old days sent me seemed like half their collections, lol, I knew he might be a lil better grower than me, I gifted most to him. I am sorry what happened to him. I know what was expected of him to join the sagamartha team, which he was trying to do before the incident. It was almost outlandish imho, but I guess thats the way they played the game over in EU or at least Sag. He was a true student of the plant, a little opinionated and hard headed, but we could always talk the plant. Now its all just a memory. But he's a diff guy now, they say it'll do that to ya. I see him now around or following Mota close, not sure if just growmies, or something else. Many moons ago, eh, useful? lol small world

That's a shame. Never understood if people do stuff like that because they don't realize they're doing it or if they consciously dick people over? I mean everyday dude seen those plants growing he had to have thought about where they came from and the generosity that they were given...

he wasn't like that before crossbar hotel, I can attest to that, but now, I dont' know the guy. But he was at one time a great researcher of some strains, etc, except you could never change his mind sometimes, lol. Had great research on NL and some other strains. I guess we all change, know he lost all his plants and genetics when it happened, but as has been said, diff guy comin out and he's obviously got back to doin it, just not the way he used to, which is a shame. jmho

I dunno what the deal is man, I'm an older dude and get backed up at times with the pm's and stuff, and ferget stuff from time to time. BUT, if you sent me old stock of mine to help me get back on my game.......aint no way I could ferget that!!! Yeah!!!

There was a little fundraiser at TCC for Foe when he had his troubles.I donated a small bit of cash to help with lawyers.The little i knew of him at the time he seemed like a kewl kat.But i'm gonna go with @Bodyne he don't quite seem like the same person.I tried to shoot the shit with him a few times and he didn't seem the most cordial so i left that in the dust.Funny world....he don't know i gave some money to help him out.

I suspect his security was compromised when that happened, and he may be a little bitter about that, but when you are posting wide open about tony sag this and tony sag that and trying to join the group, this was before the movement is in the position its in now. And when the deal was send 2 lbs of seed to europe before you could join, I just had to laugh. So I figure he's prolly burnt all the way around. But still no excuse. And I gotta say, as much as I like the guy, another one is Mota, how do you not once but twice give up your brand name basically and start over for reasons not known, lol. First hazeman, then this new deal where he's green rebel. I seen him state he's even gonna start making fems cause so many more buying them now than his regs. I got his gmo x bwiz and the freebies were valleyghash x grandpas breath and most everything Ive grown from Mota is good. but I never understood the leaving the established brands he developed. And acting like he got run out, or seems like. Anyhow, enough rehashing I reckon, lol

respected old timers from the past. At one time all congregated to the three or four main grow sites, this wasn't one of them then, lol, sorry. just truth. Now, two of the four are gone, icmag still around and now RIU has stepped up into one of the places. Just a bit of reminescing, I reckon.

I picked up that, but I'm newbie in this grow story plus I'm in Europe and It's really interesting to me reading about this subculture history, coz frankly i Don't know shit about it, hell just 4 years ago I couldn't image that I would grow my own and certalny I couldn't even Imagine how all of this breedeng /companies stuff work..I would like to know more about it..So if there are some articles or similar about growing breeder scene/history please share it with me/us.. ICM forum is very unattractive for my tase graphics is so outdated it's kinda pain in the ass to be there..

Mota from what I heard joined up and then sold his half of MotaRebel seeds. He is still friends with the other guy. I just started a few of his seeds that he sent me for free. Swamp gas and Tin foil hat
Always like Mota and Elite from the early 2k years, be damn if I could remember the forum lol

That crazy Elite, lol, had my whole living room floor full of his beans we was tradin back and forth, Foe, Mota, Rushman, Foe had a pardna, I can't remember his moniker now. for ABNorml seeds. Them was the days. I didn't mean to infer negative per Mota, he's a fave of mine also, I actually traded a bunch with Rushman that led to Mota. I did see him mention him making fems, but I couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or not, lol. Cause the regs weren't as hot. Im hangin onto his gmo bwizz cross and the vallyghash x grandpas breath tho. I can't think of the damn forum either, Doc Chronic was the seeds place but that wasn't the name of the forum, lol,
