What is this on my plant?

Hey guys I FIM'd this plant an hour ago but as you can see in the picture looks like mercury kinda looking stuff, I know it is not mercury but it looks like it lol... What is it/called?


Strain: Grand Daddy Purple.
1 Ft Long (Veg)
Flowering at 1.5 FT - 2 FT

not really exactly sure what you mean. looks normal to me. looks like a new branch or branches. nice job. if your talking about the liquid that comes out after you cut something off it's just sap and perfectly normal.

its nothing man just the plants natural liquids. i've had red stuff ooze out of the steam after i have topped once. Didn't know what that was all about, it looked like it was bleeding ! you will be fine tho. Not bad on the FIM, keep it up.

Thanks for your input man. I am a first time grower been asking to many noob questions but hey, everyday i'm learning something new, thanks =)

practice makes perfect, you just gotta put in the hours and time and you will be growing chonger dongers !

I personally top 1-2 twice the entire life of the plant but feel free to top as much as you want.

I top once when they are young with uncle ben's method, topping above the 4th true node this creates the "4 main colas" theory. Then once before flower however sometimes i don't even do a second top. if I like how the plant responded to the first top i leave it alone.
