First time dwc, two plants each in 5 gallon buckets. I check ph and ppm by draining each of their res into a cup and measuring the sample. I have noticed these floater things that are transparent in only one of the buckets and was wondering if it is something potentially harmful? I believe all nutes I am using are chemicals and non organics(GH-no bennies). I cleaned out the bucket, hose, and air-stone well with hydrogen peroxide, and then some rubbing alcohol; changed the nutrients earlier today and I see it back in the same bucket.
Its been 1 week since transplanting rooted clones into dwc. Root growth in this bucket is not as strong as the other.
The bucket is light tight.
Res is well aerated
Hydrocorn medium
Clone rooted in rockwool
PPMs: 480
PH:5.6-6.4
Res temps:68-71
Humidity:35-40%
T-5: 24/0
room temps:68-72
RO water:10 ppm
GH-FLora Nova Grow, Floralicious plus, Cali magic, Rapid start
(all around half suggested strength, raised from 1/4 strength transplant week)
Plant has not been drinking or eating much...but starting to see roots ready to come out of the bottom of net pot.
Anyone recognize this? Something shock related? Algea? Fungus? living? non-living?
Any educated guesses welcome...(i know its hard to see the pic..sorry)
Thanks!
This is a pic of a cup with sample drained from res..
