what is similar about tomato and marijuana?

they like the same nutes, they like lots of sun, they grow similar in stature, they have similar stems, they have similar growth period (ie veg & flower), nutes affect size & taste

they may not be similar to look at but on the inside they are very similar
 
Yes, I know this is a very very old thread, but I have been thinking about this as spring is on its way and I have learned more about gardening and botany in the last 3 months than I ever thought I would. I have heard that both of these plants are similar, and I would like to know if anyone has any info on this or if they have tried to grow tomatoes in a similar way as ganja. Any info would be very appreciated.

All of this. They are also both acid loving plants.
 
im a dirty farmer...BEWARE! tomatoes carry a very nasty virus as well as many other SIDS...yes,they grow the same ,sanitize your dirt first,i recommed a good steaming
