see i am not totally clear on that bro, thats why i want to stay tuned to this thread and see what peeps have to say on the most prefered means to take. I keep going to my Hydroshop to run into that old guy again, so I can ask him in detail how he uses Bud blood and the 36 hour darkness. i was franticly overwhelmed when he told me, i was buying everything i needed for my grow opt and he spoke something i really wasnt able to grasp at the time. I believe he said right when you want to go 12/12 administer bud blood and hit the plants with 36 hours of darkness. then continue reg 12/12 therafter and he is sexing his plants in 3 or 4 days by doing that. He said he does it in a 1/3 the time it usually takes. so I think its worth a test. i might even take one of my plants and experiment.
I've been wondering why some growers prefer 72 hours, while others say 48, and some say 36, and some say 24 hours of blackout time from veg before switching to 12/12 for flower? I'm sure there is a more optimal black period, but what is it? I've tried 24, not sure if 72 would make a difference, but I'm always open to improvement? 
I know this sounds NOOB but i had know idea that there needed to be a transition from 18/6 to 12/12 LOL I never read any material on that.
