What has canabis done for you?

No this isn't a poll or any of that shit. I just want to know what cannabis has done for everyone?

Has it made you a better person? Calmer? More relaxed? More spiritual?

I just wonder to myself if I'm the only one that believes so much in this plant and it's properties. I just feel like sometimes I'm alone and that I talk to much but I believe in this plant and without I would be in jail or dead. I suffer from multiple sclerosis and without cannabis I wouldn't be able to make it through out the day.

I just wish I lived in a more friendly part where I could converse with others like me, I know there are a lot of you guys on riu like that but I want that personal connection of sharing the knowledge of an amazing plant.

I don't know maybe I'm crazy or maybe I just am stoned but the cannabis is a truly amazing plant and has opened so many doors for me. I have been in and out of rehabs and hospitals due to other drugs and one that I never quit was cannabis but yet everything still improved.

Ok well sorry about all the rambling guys. I'm just curious on some other peoples views. This thread will prob die in a day anyways but at least it might keep me entertained for now.

So inhaling smoke into his lungs cured your father's uncurable respiratory disease? Can't help but be a bit skeptical.

It didn't cure lol, but it's helped keep his illness controllable. It's not like he smoke and bamb it's gone, it's still there just smoking makes it almost like he doesn't have it.

Cannabis has been a huge part of my life for the last 8 years or so, and I have to say I honestly owe alot of my life to it. The paths its lead me down, and the things its enabled me to do have kept me and my family alive, happy, and looking forward to tomorrow! I truly hope to have it as part of the rest of my life, and hope it feels the same way and will help provide me with the options in the future.

I hope you all are blessed as I have been, and your gardens stay green , and your bowls stay full! :peace: TC bongsmilie

Yea bro I can truly say I've been blessed with this plant. I've always enjoyed cannabis but I didn't truly realize the plant itself until about 7 yrs ago. It has taken to me some great places as well and has kept my family from living on the streets.

Hope your garden stays green to bro!

She has done so much for me. Helped me with my aches and pains mostly. She has made me a more relaxed mellow person as well as given me a nice hobby. I love caring for my garden and watching as they grow. It is very tranquil for me. Its My zen garden.

And yea of course I love getting fucking ripped too!!! :blsmoke:

I'm crazy, but not insane. I see shit and hear shit and have massive mood swings and fly off into blind rages at the drop of a hat...but I know what's right and wrong. Smoking slows my brain down, so I can catch the thoughts racing through my head, which keeps me from being frustrated at not being able to think clearly, which puts a longer fuse on the ticking bomb that is my temper. I also have advanced degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis, basically my whole joint (LOL) system is that of 65-70 year old man at 32, and I have some sort of digestive disorder, they say it's IBS, but on speed and steroids at the same time when it flares, and cannabis helps a lot there too. That's why I prefer hybrids, sativa for my mind - indica for my body.

And no, cannabis doesn't make my hallucinations any worse, if anything I'm thinking clearly enough to realize it's not real - and thusly I know I can ignore the fuck out of it.

I'm the same way. My mind goes a million fucking miles an hour. Feels like a fucking train wreck in there and cannabis is can slow me down and make me think to bro. If anything I think I'm better when I'm under the influence whether it's edibles or whatever. I am bipolar man. I know what you mean about massive mood swings. Weed levels me out.

Honestly forgot about that. I was in a motorcycle wreck last august, and I was able to get off my morphine last month. I was the one cutting it back though not the DR. After the worst pain was over, and I was off the heaviest dosage, my buds provided better relief. At one point the pain DR. tried to tell me I had to quit smoking, I was like uh.....sure. Well he hasn't tested me since because I think he sees the improvement in me, and he could tell I've been taking what I'm supposed to and not abusing anything. Little does he know what has helped me the most!

I guess there a quite a few of us out there.....I'm on the down hill side of my life. I enjoy every freaking day like it might be my last and I truly feel that cannabis has allowed me to take life more slowly and find joy almost everywhere. The little things are now SO IMPORTANT TO ME.......like an old rocker once sung about...sweet leaf I love you

a kindred spirit here...have the auditory and visual hallucinations from time to time and a mood swing that never stops without medication. I'm with you on the mj not causing it. Hell, I hallucinate the same, with or without it. I figure may as well enjoy myself. Never could understand why folks did acid and shit to hallucinate. I do it naturally and hate it. MJ keeps me sane, helps me concentrate (I'm bipolar so the docs they won't give me anything that would help with the a.d.d I guess they figure it will cause me to stay manic). It helps my nerve pain and other pain too.
