What do you use to kill spidermites?

put plant in bath or shower (no water) and spray the shit out of them with weak soapy water then clean water every hour for a day cover soil up to not contamnate, it sounds extreme but its an old farmers trick which never fails
do co2 tablets for aquatic plants produce co2 gas when put in a glass of water (not to be used for watering) just in my grow space

I don't use it myself, but other people use neem oil as a preventative.

I've fought mites with habanero and nicotine tea sprays.. rosemary. Once they start spinning webs I'd say start over.

Habanero is a bitch to work with and is pretty good.. Gotta cycle it with other natural stuff with a lot of applications so it takes time..
Rosemary is excellent at killing quickly, but I've also damaged the plants with it so you have to be careful. Smells great, too!

Now I use nothing but live ladybugs. If you can manage just to keep 3 or 4 hanging out long term.. you'll never worry about mites again. Hate The Borg!

Since my last entry a little under a week ago, stating that I used Azamax. Wow! Nothing but corpses now!

I AM still going to redo on Saturday as I said, just for good measure.

Thanks RIU! THE BEST place for info!!!!

+1, habanero spray does actually work, just don't get it on your hands or in your eyes, burns like a mrfr. Neem oil works as a soil drench, not sure how it would work purley as a foiliage spray.
