What do you do with your plant waste after harvest? Stash or Trash?

Hey Guys!

I am just curious what you do with the plant stems and leaves and roots balls that are left, after you harvest out all the buds. I throw mine in the compost pile in my backyard. But recently I have been hearing that people grind up the waste and amend it BACK into their soil for enhanced soil profile.

Let me know what you do with your plant waste and why!

Compost pile then back into the ground.

I dry mine out.... put on some groovy music...make a giant bon fire out of It and I get toasted while I watch it all burn

If your leave, roots and stems are disease-free (Watch out for Septoria leaf spot, PM, Botrytis) then you can make great compost out of it. However, if it is not the case, burn it (As these diseases can overwinter and reappear the next year).
