I haven't read up on san pedro but I do know that peyote buttons take 5 years to produce from seed unless they're grafted onto a faster growing cactus. You can always just buy 12 inch slices of mature san pedro. That would save time and trouble.

e-bay theres peruvian torch or san pedro, ive only ordered san pedro and its kicked my ass everytime, slice the cacti put it in a blender w/equal parts of water, blend for a few mintues untill its bubbly neon green, boil for a couple hrs. it will bubble up then go down, take a cotton shirt, put over the blender push it down a little, and strain, squeeze the cacti remains in the shirt, drink in hour intervals, *remember a pound and 1/2 (less than a kilo) has the same amount of mescaline than 4peyote buttons!
