What about popcorn buds?

What do you guys do with your lower branches with popcorn buds? From what I understand it's better to cut em off because they are just keeping the juice from main colas and not growing any themselves.

me my self i keep then and do 2 or more harvests but thats just me. i take the mains off 1st let the rest get to were i want then then move down a bit and so on tell i get to the last ones then time for reveg and start all over again. but some ppl say cut them off but i never seen a dif i go how it looks not by how long its been flowering i like mostly amber and a lil bit cloudy so when it looks like that the tops come off and but out in the sun if its not to late or inside under a light

so you harvest individual buds as they reach the desired maturity. Ive known of this method and am curious. Ive heard and seen that the buds dont get much larger, although they do age. And I want to know if you think that the smoke is harsh due to cutting of in small increments as opposed to branches and/or whole plant.

And use them for hash. The colas/tops/heads will be the most dense and best looking. there are many options to help increase size and potency of inner canopy flowers, but i would just say use them for hash

im about to cut off my cola in a week or so and let the rest of the plant go another 2 weeks probably. the top is just so much more advanced than the rest.

i find they taste the same cuz you dont add anything unless you use a dif drying and cure prosses for each lair but i find it dose give a beater high the plant has more energy to put in to buds i only cut the buds off i keep as much leaves as i can on her

Where I'm at it's impossible to let the rest the plant mature after cutting the main colas due to cold weather. So I just cut the smallest branches underneath with little light availability to help out the big guys. But I definitely hear you with doing it in parts if you've got the nice weather.

I take off the colas first, then move on lower as I go, over the course of a week or two. The smallest popcorns I pluck off and grind up to make killer hash
