Try 3M 5200 instead of slow cure silicone. Made for marine applications, will cure under water. Just don't plan on ever trying to take it back apart. If you owned a 200k boat,and a hole was drilled through the bottom to accept a plug, or accessory, it was sealed with 5200. Actually if you owned a 2 mil boat, it was prob sealed with 5200.

Have you looked into the aluminum blocks they use to cool down soda guns in restaurants? They route the soda through an aluminum block that sits in the bottom of the ice bin. I think they are usually about a square foot and would work well for EB strips

Sorry I didn't reply earlier! I did look at cold plates early on but even used ones on Craigslist were pretty expensive (at least $100) and I would need at least five of them to cover my cabinet. The sizes weren't great since my cabinet is 17.5 inches deep and usually the fitting situation wasn't ideal either. Big barbs hanging down from the top...
