I havent posted on here in what seems like forever, but I have been admiring the websites growth and the amazing plants you people grow. I've been smoking for 6 years now without any trouble, I've been caught 4 times by the cops and let go all 4 times in my little party town. But I kept not caring and doing whatever I wanted. Need to get this off my chest, so heres my story.
Last friday as i was fishing with some buddies, I called into work seeing if i could evacuate for the hurricane (gustave), ofcourse i could, so me and 3 friends decided to head off to my friends farm and do some fishin/hunting while the hurricane passed. When i got to my friends house we smoked a blunt out of our OZ. and had a gallon of grey goose for the camp. About 30 min down the road i see the 2 friends in the front seat taking something, I said what the fuck man are you taking? "Its just aderal dude, chill" says the driver. Now my friend can never control himself on any kind of pill, so I said alright im driving then. My friend refused ofcourse. 30 min later we are doing 90 down the highway jamming to some Tool, me and my other friend in the backseat are unconfortable because my friend is obviously not being responsible, and wont let us (the sober ones) drive. I said to him ATLEAST 20 times to let me drive, hell I even begged him to let me drive. So I said its your future (thinking everything goes on the driver). When we are about 20 min away from the farm i start to calm down so i put on some James Taylor while we smoke a blunt to calm me down. Not much longer after the blunt is finished I can see the blue and red lights behind us, and all i can think is FUCK!
I had my black lab in the back of the truck and hes barking at the cops because hes very protective of me. So the cop asks me and the driver to step out and control my dog. I hear the cop say to my friend we are being pulled over for doing 70 in a 55. The cops partner who was training under him walks up to the truck window and the first thing he says to my friends is "wheres the weed at". So all 4 of us are standing by the highway while the truck is being searched, and ofcourse they find the weed and the gallon of vodka. They gave my friend an extacy test because his pupils were dialated and he passed.
So the cop pulls all 4 of us together and says "whos weed is this". The driver said everybodys, and the rest of us say the same. They ask whos alcohol is it and my friend claims it. Few minuets later they say all 4 of us are going to jail for possesion of marijuana. I said "why am i going to jail im not the driver", he said because nobody claimed it. So now all 4 of us are going to jail in 1 cop car, while the other cop is driving my friends truck with my dog in the back to the jail.
When we get there they put my dog in the truck and lock it and put us in jail. We had nobody to co-sign for us for bail, so we had no way of getting out. The cops were being total dicks to us. One cop said he was on TV and i asked him if he felt cool and he told me to shut my mouth. So now im extremely pissed because my dogs locked in a truck and im stuck in jail with no way to get out. Finally some cool dude who said hes been in prison for 20 years told us we could pay 3000 and 1 of us could get out and co-sign for us so we could all get out. My friend has a credit card that has a 15,000 limit so he bailed out and got us out.
So we go to the farm, and arrive around 7am (been in jail for 7 hours). The next day we go to a party at the local college and score some of the best weed I've ever smoked in my life! I decided that thats what im going to quit on. Now im waiting on my court date to arrive. I've hired a lawyer who says he can keep this from going on my clean record because the cops werent suppose to bring me to jail, the driver was suppose to go and not the other 3 of us. I wish i didnt have to quit, i planned to smoke until i got drug tested for my career job. But the stupidity of my friend has now cost me 3000$ and parents are deeply dissapointed in me. I know people have it alot worse than i do, but still this could have been easily prevented.
Thank you for the good times RIU, and maybe when i retire i shall start smoking the plant i truely love again.
