I know people who still buy weed at $280 per OZ ($70 per quarter) and resell it to others and still make $$$$. Hell they pay $2500 for their weed and sell the LB's to other people for $2900!! I've seen their stuff, its not bad looking and maybe $1800 max on the black market.

This will never fukin fly. What if I can't afford to buy from an LP? Then the government is forcing me to reengage in the same criminal activity that they're denying the application on…Text book charter 7 violation and likey discrimination as well. Conroy/Tousaw will get that squashed by Phelan I'm sure!

High school kids don't count. $280 per ounce? You need to split that up into grams and charge $15/ gram to make it worth while. Just like back in high school, eh? $280/oz in BC? What a rip off.

Hey don't hate these guys cause they get top dollar, as for high skool kids well if a kid can make that much all the power to him. I didn't believe it at first too untill I saw them both piecing out 2+ lb per month.

  • (a) a designated cannabis offence — or an offence committed outside Canada that, if committed in Canada, would have constituted such an offence — that was committed while they were authorized to produce cannabis under the Act, other than under the former Marihuana Medical Access Regulations; or
  • (b) a designated marihuana offence — or an offence committed outside Canada that, if committed in Canada, would have constituted such an offence — that was committed while they were authorized to produce marihuana
    • (i) under the Act, other than under these Regulations, or
    • (ii) by virtue of an injunction order issued by a court.
It seems clear to me that they are saying only if you committed these offences while you were mmar or acmpr or under the protection of an injunction.
If you were not busted selling while you were under these programs, you can still get your license to produce your own.
If you were caught hiding behind your grow license to sell people weed you are gonna be shit outta luck.
That is how I interpret the above quoted section

Any stupid stipulations on how many flowering etc?
How does the patient get the meds from dg as a gift? Sold at cost?
Partial delivery of crops as needed just to not go over 150g
I don't have the vision to read it all today.

Reading through the application, it asks the question 'Will you need to obtain starting material (i.e. seeds) from a Licensed Producer?'.

Given that seeds aren't illegal to buy in Canada, do I say No? Or, given that everything I've been hearing says that you have to purchase LousyProvider seeds, do I put on a big grin and say 'Gosh, yes please help me find seeds'.

I just did a search of the regulations for 'seeds' and tried to focus under the Personal Production section. I didn't see anything regarding if anyone has to provide seeds for us, or we can source our own.

Anyone else see anything or have a definitive section I can reference?

A registered person can purchase seeds or plants from a licensed producer up to a maximum quantity that, taking into account the fact that three marihuana seeds are equivalent to one plant, does not exceed the equivalent of the maximum number of marihuana plants authorized. It is expected that starting materials would be required at the outset of a person’s registration; however, there is not a limit to the number of times a person can purchase starting materials to account for the potential of crop failure.


Grounds for refusal — registration
183 The Minister must refuse to register an applicant or renew or amend a registration if

  • (a) the applicant is not eligible under subsection 174(1) or section 175;
  • (b) the medical document that supports the application does not meet all of the requirements of section 8 or is no longer valid;
  • (c) the person who provided the applicant with the medical document
    • (i) is not a health care practitioner,
    • (ii) is not entitled to practise their profession in the province in which the applicant consulted with that person, or
    • (iii) is named in a notice issued under section 59 of the Narcotic Control Regulations that has not been retracted under section 60 of those Regulations;
  • (d) the given name, surname or date of birth of the applicant is different from the given name, surname or date of birth that appears on the medical document;
  • (e) the health care practitioner who provided the medical document to the applicant notifies the Minister in writing that the use of dried marihuana by the applicant is no longer supported for clinical reasons; or
  • (f) any information, declaration or other item included in the application is false or misleading.

Does this mean no skype Dr's?

Cannabis seeds are 100% illegal, always have been. Just ask Mark Emery, RC (Heavens Stairway 02/06), and Dana Larsen who was busted for "giving" seeds away earlier this year.

Wrong
Cannabis seeds are legal in Canada for souvenir purposes.
Germination of said seeds is illegal.
Emery went to prison in the us for selling them across the border.
Larson well he pushed his luck and idk the details of his charges
