Hoping to change the sex and make some feminized seeds. The chemicals were pretty cheap, I found them on ebay...hard to measure though since it is little crystals and my scale is a food scale, and cheap so it does round numbers on grams, unless you switch it over to ounces...but then you have to figure out what that decimal means...lol. Anyway sprayed her down and now we wait i guess...all I know is my finger tips have turned brown....which is one of the warnings...that the solution will stain things brown...so I assume brown fingers mean I got it right...Hopefully soon I will have a shemale---(postop) *fingers crossed* Tired of buying seeds...and dont want to mix the females I have...and there is a strain that was my first so she is special to me, but I have had enough of her....and since she started as one female seed, I don't keep mom plants, although I think I might start...can you leave a plant in a cloner for a few weeks...perhaps I could turn the veg tent into a mother tent---and just keep moms of each strain, and then do my cloning and what not in that tent too, and then when they are 3-4 weeks old take the clones into the flower tent...Hmmm....an idea might be striking me...I usually get the seed, plant the seed, clone the plant, veg the clone and flower the original...then I take the clone which is now a plant, and I clone it and flower the original clone again...so on and so forth...for 2 years now, and I am just tired of this one strain...it is hard to grow and I could spend so much less time if I onlt had to figure and deal with my newer plants...but I don't want to just stop having it either...I want a little tupperware drawer organizer thing in the top of my closet with a plethora of seeds, and then I can look through them and pick whatever i want at that time...so making my own feminized seeds seemed like a logical thing to do...I certainly can't afford and don't want to have to buy seeds all the time...I got wise when I wanted to try autoflowers...and ordered reg seeds, figured I could just pollinate one of the first plants and have seeds perpetually...by allowing a male to survive when I was running low on seeds again...so I ordered a 10 pack...planted 5, and 3 were male, and one is definitely female and is budding but it is all mutie and split into 2 main stalks when it wasn't even an inch high...I didn't top it and nothing happened to it, it just has to tops of equal size--so that is good...and then there is another one that seems confused as to what it is...I thought it was female because 3 got balls and 2 didn't...few days later 3 had balls, one had hairs, and one was just there...it is also like 3 times the size of the males and the other definitely female...and like it looks like it has balls, and then I look at the for sure female and her calyxes where the preflowers come out kinda look like balls, and in a week this larger plant has made no decision to go one way or the other...it is just frozen in time...getting bigger and having weird little ball like things, but no male flowertops, no clusters of balls, and also no hairs...just 2 bumps in the nodes..Anyway I became disgusted with my pollinating options out of those 5 so I planted the other 5...and 1 seed was no good and the other 4 sprouted, and my cat ate their tiny little sprouts...all 4...so I am stuck with one mutie female, 3 males, and one big plant that isnt' sure yet what to do...I wish they made some chemicals taht would make male plants female...seems shitty we can only move in the one direction...and seems like a male plant with the ability to turn female would be the shit in nature...nothing could stop it...it would take over the world...perhaps that is why it doesn't work that way...Anyway I have stoned ranted enough about probably nothing at all about growing marijuana.
