Dinafem - Gorilla Update.
Well all the Gorilla girls are at day 70 and i think the 80 days estimate is bang on same as last grow with this pheno and have been tied up as they keep falling over, the girls are getting fatter and denser on a daily basis as expected. Calyxes on overdrive along with trichomes. Harvest is getting closer and I will take them in stages main colas first and let them dry to jarring stage once thats done I will harvest the lower half. Im not even going to flush these plants as I couldn't tell the difference from two of the Dark Plasma plants that got flushed and the two didn't, either in a blunt or in the vape. More pictures and updates will be posted over the weekend.

I will post a full plant image of the Dinafem - Purps#1 over the weekend she is getting her colours on fast now, lovely plant good and sturdy .

Just a little update on the changes to my growing system for next lot of plants. I will be running a Drip feed recirulating system with the plants in 11 litre pots of hydroton. Nutrients will be 1 part Ionic Hydro Grow / Bloom. Addivtives will be Ionic PK Boast and Ionic UV Balance.
Im using the uv balance as I am running a sterile system with a UV pond / aquarium sterliser, without the uv balance added to the nutrients it will strip out some elements ie iron etc so this replaces what the uv removes. So with the uv cleaning the nutrient im at least hopeful that it will kill any bacteria etc in it, giving the plants nice clean water and hopefully reduce risk of root problems. I will use some H202 once a week when refreshing the res and give the plants a good watering and help defend against root rot before switching the uv back on.
Next run will start in the flower cab within the next 2 weeks, hopefully it will be a no drama grow with the new setup.

As mentioned above started the new setup for the grow cab, couple a pics below.

New setup for one shelf in the flower cabinet starting with the next grow. Im already using a duplicate setup in the veg space as a tester but i cant fit in there with the camera so a couple of pics with the build in progress on this one. Waiting for some 13mm ice pipe to arrive.
This will be a three site drain to waste or recirculating system easy to make either way and expand. I will be using 11 litre plastic pots filled with hydroton. So drippers in the top imagine that and the water runs out the bottom of the pots along the pipes into a bucket or res.
I will be running these as a sterile system and have a UV pond / aquarium unit connected in the veg room and will put the other one on this kit when complete. A pump pumps water into and out off the uv unit and back during lights on. Another pump attached to a timer pumps nutrient up into the feed lines which are going to be 13mm ice pipe, there will be three tees connected to the main feed line and branch of for each site which will have a tee at the end then a loop of 13mm ice pipe with holes drilled in it.
Nutrients will be Ionic single part Hydro Grow / Hydro Bloom and the additives will be Ionic Boost rather than pk13/14 and Ionic UV Balance to replace the iron etc that the uv unit strips out. So the res is always sterile and the nutrient being fed to the plants. If need be I can run some H202 through the system after each weekly clean out of the res and run that through the pots to keep the roots and hydroton in check.
Some pics below, the rings in the pots are what im using in the veg room. The plants that are in there where cut out of fabric pots, roots shaved off and cleaned then put into the hydroton and have been given a week more less to start recovering and the roots are already comming out the ass of the pots.
Strains are all Dinafem Site 1 Remo Chemo / Site 2/3 Purps#1. Nutrients as stated at EC1.2 Background EC0.4 PH when mixed with tap water is 6.3 and set at 5.8 and can rise to 6.5 and then be reset if need be.

Ok folks a couple of bud shots from the Crystal Candy F1 Fast Versions, I have no idea how long these have been in flower to be honest. They will be harvested on 27/04/2019, as can be seen in the photos they are getting a nice purple colour to them and the trichomes are changing from cloudy to amber.
I will post another couple of shots on the day of harvest.
