The tires on my truck are taller than the hood of my car. If a car hits me, they are going partially under the bumper and hitting tires. If I'm hit by something head on, there's a good chance noting is bashing though my steel engine block to actually get to me.

I'd like to see my truck vs any newer car. I'd win. My truck has seatbelts you know.

We got t-boned one time by a fiero, we were driving a 70's LTD. The fiero was a total loss. We drove our car away from the scene. I was pregnant at the time and not injured. He hit us going over 60 miles an hour, we barely felt the impact, we were turning left when he hit, he was passing in a no passing zone, we kept turning and drug his car along with us. He went for quite a ride that day.

So then you personally have a hand in the financial crisis today? I guess when we round 'em up, someone will be knocking on your door too.

You are a sad human being. It's greed that ruins things and makes people go off the deep end. We can tell by your lack of sentence structure that you are already off your rocker.
LOL! I love it when people get going on someones bad use of English and how to write properly!

CrackerJax- the technology out today can make my OLD nova handle better then any new car on the road. Check out air ride technology. Also if I hit any car today on the road say head on I probably wouldnt have a scratch and a honda pilot would be totaled. They make all cars like crap these days, ie plastic everything, so when their plastic car absorbs my metal bumper who looses?HUM. And WTF does enjoy while you can mean-nobody here can make me stop driving my car-Also it passes inspection every year. I could avoid inspection by getting antique tags but dont want to.

Medicineman- Might need a different off set rim in frnt, I have 15"creggers that rubbed a little before alignment. Tellin you check CCP. Cant stop now on it. Wait till it gets warmer.

:hump::hump:

i'm selling it and i just got a reply. i'm gonna cry if it goes. :(

Yeah, those old Dodges were tough, I hope my 04 is as tough. I got the Hemi, cat back exhaust. Surprising how much pep that thing has.
Here's what a stock 04 hemi owner says his does in the 1/4: Best 0-60: 5.74....Best 1/8 Mile: 9.26 @ 77....Best 1/4 Mile: 14.43 @ 94
I haven't run mine, but it feel about this fast. This is stock muscle car territory.

I want an old school hemi for my charger. Right now it's got a 383 in it. I could get into some Hemi power.

My bro is trying to save up for a new Hemi for his charger. He's already got his painted and damn it looks fine as hell. It's the most shiny red. What a beauty.

A few years ago we sat in it on our birthday, and got high. The interior was all ripped out, but he put the seats back in just for our birthday adventure.

(no we aren't twins, his birthday is the day before mine, but we are 3 years apart. )

Those new, old style Hemis are fine, but if you want to spend the extra money and put in a new 6.1, or even a new 6.4 litre, you get the horsepower plus the fuel mileage. You can't beat computers for mapping A/F ratios. 500HP and 22 MPG, try that with an old school hemi.

but how far will a new hemi take you after an EMP?

My bro can get the new Hemi, I'm either keeping my engine where the number match, or going old school hemi.

Actually I need a gas tank, we noticed a small leak in ours last summer. Need to go to the Mopar nationals and look for one, or be lazy and have my bro find it for me, he goes every year. They take a van to haul parts.

My nova is 98' corvette red small metallic flake- I am partial to the hugger orange dodge had in late 60's/early 70's
, blk ralley stripes-never cared for the superbird-stupid wing and looonnnggg nose. They are worth a mint these days.

Google up the new EPA initiatives if you want to know who can make you stop driving your car.... you just voted for them ...

P.S. I don't care what you put into your old car, it won't match the safety features of a new model. I guess if you throw 30k at it it might... but that sure is taking the long way round the barn. besides that, when you are finished how much old car is left?

It's a law in Japan to turn in older vehicles... it's coming to your town too.... yah, that's right, it's the Monkees.

P.P.S. this just in.... Miss Moffitt is a stoner  But she is right to be concerned of the mighty EMP!! kaboom, lights out...

If you're worried about an EMP, I think your auto would be the least of your worries. Probably your ass being on fire might be a better worry, EMPs dictate an enemy attack, where there is smoke, there is fire. In other words, if the enemy is trying to take out our electronics, it is pretty likely he will be sending those things called Nukes our way also.

I think, don't nukes emit an EMP on detonation? Not two separate weapons (not yet, anyhow). Not a personal risk unless you are wearing a tinfoil hat!

An EMP can be made with weapons other than a nuclear explosion, but for efficiency, nothing beats crazy atoms.

Nobody would perish in the initial blast because for full impact of EMP (line of sight) detonation occurs high up in the atmosphere. By the way this is exactly what the Iranian govt. has been testing.... missiles only going halfway...no reentry.

I'm sure we can talk them out of it tho... Oh my

Only one would be used by an "anonymous" cell...no countries to aim back at. Oh my.

I'm just into being prepared.

I certainly don't think the world is headed for super happy fun time.

I threw my George Bush rose colored glasses away when they came in the mail.
