Weird Idea Somebody Should Try.

I've been thinking about this for a while

You know how if you stick celerey in coloured water, it will absorb the dye and change to that colour?

Has anyone tried this with marijuana?

I mean it would be pretty cool to have pure blue herb or something.
it would be a way of classifying who grew it with colour?

HA! Great Idea for the holidays; color some red, then give out little bags of red and green bud for the holidays!

It'll come off on customers fingers and they'll get para', think something's up with the weed. Even if they get mashed they'll swear the weed's contaminated with something. Why else would people dye weed? People like to see what they are smoking, the look, the smell, texture...

sorry to piss on the parade.

...i suggest procurring some fine marijuana, rolling it in a thin, chlorine free paper, and dipping it in wine or brandy...allow it to dry over night, enjoy...

...i have also experimented with adding juice crystals(kool-aid) in the last week of flowering to influence color...it made it darker, harder to smoke and shitty tasting...fuck it...

...allowing a wee bit of frost to hit your plants just befor harvest will definately purple them up with out fucking up the flavor...too much and you're hooped...

I wonder if you could graft weed to another plant, sort of like they do with trees. Tumbleweeds scattering cannabis seeds everywhere lol.

Yeah dude ur not the 1st one to think of this its called water curing there is a thread about it on the forum. Oh dyed weed nvm don't mind my post. I guess it would work but the way to dye ur weed if u really want to, is to take a freshly cut branch add food coloring to water and put the cut stem in the colored water eventually the food color will be absorbed into the plant. But don't dip the actual bud in the water.

Water curing has nothing to do with colouring the weed.

As for the thread bump, I had an odd glitch where for a few hours the last page of threads was being displayed as the first. I 'jumped the gun' but I hope you appreciate me collating similar threads anyway.

Maybe it's because I'm female, but I like the idea of funky coloured plants. Then again there are already strains that exhibit vibrant variations of color under the right conditions like lavender and plush berry, which is just a beautiful looking strain in any color anyway...
