Yup, my biggest concern is thieves because my deck has stairs that are not blocked off by anything, someone could easily walk up my hillside from the main road and walk up the stairs to the deck in order to peek around the corner of my greenhouse and see my medicine growing...getting me a little worried. That's also partially why I wanted the police of my town to know I'm growing, they have nothing better to do in such a safe town then to stop any suspicious activities. Hopefully, any plant-jackers/trespassers count in their book.
yea rippers were the only reason i didnt put a couple outside. i live in a safe area but didnt want any stupid ass kids gettin any ideas.

Yup, there are tons of those kinds of fools out there...too lazy or too stupid to help themselves to some knowledge.

Grow your own!:cuss::mad:

Hi doozie,
Love your greenhouse. I was going to build one just like it untill I found out I needed 3 foot clearence for the power line. Thats when I deceided to go with wood and a slanted roof. (ended up sort of doing it anyway) Good idea hanging the fabric inside, less noticable. I am also in northern california and this is my first grow under the sun too. In my design I did not include a misting system because I felt it would create too much humidity but it seems to work for you. Now with these dam spidermites I wish I had. Thanks for the info.

I know what you mean about being legal. Nothing like it.
Hey, you mentioned you dont want to go over the legal amount. In case you didnt know, as a mmj patient you can have another patient sign over there growing priviledges to you. Its called being a caregiver. I got the form if you want it. Currently I am a caregiver for one other patient. Now I can have 12 flowering girls and 24 in veg. It doesnt mean you have to give them the harvest, just supply when they need it for a donation to help cover the costs of the grow.

Thanks again for the tip on the misters, I'm gonna put them in after this harvest.

Ok so for some reason, rollitup.org timed out every time I wanted to get on the site last night :( Wtf?

Only now is it working. I would have updated all this stuff last night but I couldn't get on the site for whatever reason...is rollitup.org really THAT busy??

Anyway, here goes my post from last night.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! It turns out I did have time to go out and get all the things I needed! OSH was having a sale on the items I wanted too so YAY for saving $

I got:
~ 1 5oz bottle of SUPERTHRIVE! (it was $5 after taxes so woohoo!)
~ a large piece of screen for windows to use as the new door to my greenhouse so my girls can be protected from buggies/animals but still get a nice breeze.
~ a 4-way hose splitter so now I can have 2 misters on and still be able to use the hose for cold jets/making it rain :)
~a large planter pot tray on wheels! Perfect for Big Blue for she will continue to grow and this will make it easier to move her without hurting/stressing her out
~more tarp clips to reinforce the greenhouse further as fall here near the coast brings strong winds
~more bungee cords for reinforcement
~pulleys so I can make a DIY curtain to pull up inside the greenhouse during the night for more solid darkness as well as to pull down in the morning for sun
~Large pieces of black (velvet on one side, cloth on the other) fabric for curtain to keep things DARK and to give a little nighttime warmth (it gets really cold here at night because being near the coast brings chilly/moist winds)
~and a wind chime for nice greenhouse ambiance

Overall, SUCCESS!

As for the plant update, they're keeping up the happy growing. G.G's clone is exploding with growth and is quickly getting denser buds, much better than her mother but with that same sweet spicy lemony scent, I love it!
GDP's are going strong, I think I'm going to transplant now that I have the superthrive. I just need to get the pots and soil...I think I have some 3-gals lying around...and some black gold, a little happy frog, 1/2 oz of seabird guano, and a lot of fine bone meal left over. I'm thinking I'm going to need a little bit more soil but I can't find a smaller sized bag of happy frog and I'd prefer to grow in that (because it has that beneficial micro bacteria that organics really love)

Big Blue really responded well to the make-shift curtain I desperately put together last night to block out ambient light. I used some fleece blankets I had lying around and though it was really difficult to get all 3 of them to stay put and block the light, they managed to stay through until morning. I noticed that Big Blue had a lot more positive growth during the night and I'm thinking its because of the more solid darkness the blankets brought  Now I just need to find the time to make the DIY curtain pulley system

Anyway, here are the pictures from 8/31 morning! That's me in the background with the Cannabis Planet shirt :)
As always, see picture names for descriptions and ENJOY!

Thank you for the compliments cruzer! I think we live in one of the best places in the world for growing indicas/hybrids, they just seem to flourish under this Cali sun...that is, when we get sun :/

I was worried about too much humidity as well which is why I leave the side with the door open at all times, the breeze that comes through seems to take care of drying the moisture on the plants :) Thanks for the tip about caregiving! I would like that form if you have it, or could point me in the direction of getting one for myself. I'm not sure if any Medical patients in my area would be willing to sign it, but it's worth a try, I will ask the ones I know. Thanks again!

looks good! subscribed..
Thank you Dr.! Welcome

Thanks man, I'm going to try to transplant before this weekend. Hopefully it won't disturd the GDP girls too much...How much superthrive do you think I should use moving them from a 1-gal to a 3-gal? Thanks for any input from anyone!

Wow, you're in a nice area. I like that lake. Do you fish? Oh, and your plants are looking awesome. bongsmilie
Oh man, that's no lake  that's the Bay!

And thanks cruzer and big cheese, I'm probably going to use 1 drop per gallon

Another hot day but managed to keep temperatures within the 75-82 degree range so the girls are all perky:-P

Misters are working real well, the GDP's and Big Blue love it pointed at them. I'm managing to keep G.G drier than the indicas as she liked a more sativa-like environment so the humidity the misters create is perfect for her as well as the heat.

The screen is working really well, the only bugs I've seen are ants on the floor which I'm not too worried about....should I be? Other than that, the wind is making it through and the girls sway a bit here and there. The wind chimes make it peaceful as well and drown out the sounds of the cars on the main road, good $3 investment!

I saw a spiders web inside the greenhouse due to the mist catching on it, making it clearly visable. No sign of the spider. I looked all over the greenhouse but don't see it. I've read and heard that spiders can be useful in a garden and that they should be allowed to stay. As long as it isn't hurting the plants and catching pests, I'm cool with it. The web is larger than a spider mites web and has the classic Halloween look to it so I'm thinking its a beneficial spider. Didn't manage to get a picture of it, it was too wet in there for the camera.

Anyway, Big blue is really my star right now, so many budsites, its going to be a hell of a harvest
However, my favorite has got to be G.G's clone because she is just emitting the most intoxicating smells I've ever had to the pleasure of passing through my nostrils and yet I have no idea of her genetics. She is sativa dominant (going from her mothers product) and has a spicy, sweet, lemony scent and taste to her but even better than her mom. Can't wait to taste!:hump:

These are the pictures from today! See picture names for descriptions, they will help with identification. Enjoy!
