I noticed in the last pics of the plants were yellowing on the bottom some. I know they are in miricle grow so u will not need to put any nutes in. When do you plant to add any nutes if at all? Thanks

Ok quick pic update. We are now at the end of the first week of flower. Three of the plants sexed early and I knew before switching to 12/12.

Now of the 13 started I know 8 are females and the rest are suspect. I am sure I will be able to make a final determination on the remiaing 5.

Of the 8 females 3 look to be heavy sativa while the other 5 are looking to be Indica blends.

I am feeding with Ionic Hydro Nutes Bloom and Boost every other water. I water every 3-4 days. The Ionic nutes seem to be working great in the soil.

Hey man, I did mine the same method as you. I put them in clear cups and it has been 11 days and they look great. I was wondering what size pots you transplanted up too??? I am going to transplant to 2 gallon pots from the 16 oz cups I have them in now.
Rep+ for your way working good for me!!

Glad to hear that the cups are working for you. I wish I could remember who I picked it up from and give credit where it is do!

I am currently using 8" wide round pots. I think they are about 1.25 gallon volume. They seem to be working fine. The one plant that I snapped a picture of the leaves a couple of posts up with the real skinny leaves is already 38" tall about 8" taller than the rest of them. I had to tie the top down.

Any way Ill post some new pics later 2nite.

Here near the end of week 2 and the split ended at 7 females and 6 males. The boys cut, double bagged, and ready for a shallow grave.:fire:

Now as for thie girls, they are looking lovely:weed: This grow is all different bagseed but all the girls seem to be developing nicely.

I had to tie the top of a second heavy sativa that was getting to tall already. I have plenty of space but I really want to keep the canopy even and get more light to the lower branches of these tall bitches.

25 days into flowering now and these lovely ladies are starting to smell sweet.

Since the last update I have given full strength nutes every three days, I am going to give them a few days for the dirt to really dry out them I am going to give a healthy clean watering.

The buds are starting to fill in the space between the nodes and Trichromes are starting to show.

I had some doubts about going with the hortilux 1000w thinking that it was a little bigger than I actually needed, but now seeing this I am happy I did!

Heres some pics

i have a question? are you misting them right now in flower? if so you might want to stop unless you are just doing it on the days you take pics the reason i say this is ive heard it is bad cuz it can cause mold i havent misted in flower just veg but no mold we dont want that on those beautiful girls and they are lookin awesome man you are doing a wonderful job.

Thanks Pitbudz. I am misting with every watering just because my humidity is at like 40 % the air in my house is dry and with running both a 400w mh and 1000w hps it gets dry. The leaves are dry around 15 min after and the humidity jumps up to around 50%.

I have read about the mold issue and I will probably stop spraying them around the middle of week 6 when the buds start to really swell, I will be keeping an eye on them for sure.

I added some real maple syrup to the feeding solution today and am going to see how this helps the plants. I mixed at 1tbsp per gallon so not very much.

All the tops have nice trics and the side growth is starting to show some crystals.

Thats the update for the Temple today. I will post some nice pics later this week. I am going to use my wifes camera to get some nice close ups!

Peace

Thanks Dewey.

I have 3 widow and 3 chrystal plants that are three weeks from seed. I am going to take cuttings sex em and keep best female from each for mothers and run a nice perpetual harvest on a four to five week rotation. I figure that is going to take a good six months to harvest so this pull hopefully will hold us over.

This is my second grow and this site has made all the difference.

Thanks for lookin in!

I have a question on the Miricle Grow, when did you start adding nutes to the soil? and how much? Did you wait until they looked defiencent? OR how did you know when to add the nutes so that they would not be burned?
Do you PH your water before you water?

Pimpnitjc I start to add nutes @ 3 weeks from seed and then only at 1/2 strength. I will feed them with this half strength every other watering for another two weeks.

That puts me at 5 weeks from seed. I will then go to full strength every other watering for 3 weeks. During this period is when I will be taking cuttings for clones and topping for height issues.

The cuttings really have no problem throwing roots because there is a good amount of N in the plants.

Just for a bit of clarification I am using IONIC HYDRO Nutes grow, bloom and boost

Hope this helps!

ONE MORE QUESTION. SORRY...Was the soil mix you had in the clear cups the same as the soil mix your transplanted too? Also, you do PH your water before you put it in and also are you using the MG soil that has Nutes for 3 months? That is the only kind I can find. Thanks man!!

I bury a cocoa plug in the cup and yes it is the same soil that I am using for the planters. On the batch that is going now I mixed the soil heavy with peat moss and a little sand so I have excellent drainage.

The fresh water I use when not feeding seems to keep the soil from getting too much nute build up.

I don't PH my water every time. I tested it the first time I filled my buckets and it was fine. I DO check the PH of my soil on the same days I give fresh water. The PH of my soil was low once in my last grow but I was using Miracle Grow nutes too and a little heavy Noobie mistake.:leaf:

Sitting at day 34 of flower. I raised the light up to 24" from the canopy. They grew up to about 18" and started getting heat stress.

Looking better now.

So heres the pics.

The first is a close up trying to show the Trics.
The next pic I moved one over in front of the widows and chyrstals vegging. The next is a picture of the room and one of teh girl I have tied in LST. All the tops on teh LST are about thumb size.

Anyway I can't wait so until then.....:weed:
