I'm saying about 3 to 3.5 feet so you don't burn the colas on the top. I did that the first time because I was trying to grow a crazy sativa.And max you will probably grow 1 to 1.5 pounds. However if you put clones in there you can harvest pretty much every 2 weeks. The conclusion is if you build a room you will obviously get more weight but the box is ridiculously stealthy and so easy to move. I've grown in multiple spots in my house because of company and it keeps trucking. No one has any idea what it is. If you live in an apartment or townhouse GET ONE no questions asked. However if you have a huge basement or live in a house you might benefit from building a room. Its just a lot more work and maintenance. Oh Wow I barely got back into growing so haven't been on here in a long time. Not sure what you ended up doing but I will tell you the team at bcnorthernlights are amazing. The customer service is exceptional by far. As for the box it stays pretty cool. I set my box under an ac vent to help out and I recommend putting a circulating fan inside. They have a new computer system on them that does way more shit than mine does but i've produced some crazy plants. It looks like it is snowing in there. It all depends on the strain but my first grow ended up being the best shit i've ever smoked no lie. But the strain I got was from the Netherlands and was amazing. Now for the Cons: I live in Arizona so I have to be constantly monitoring the temperature because the box can get hot fast. Normally it is supposed to be about 6-7 degree hotter inside. I've gotten mine to be colder inside than the outside a few times. You also can't get the plants too high in it. (next page)
