Ok, So im sorry if you guys already read this, but i didnt see it anywhere, so im puttin it up on here.

Last week president Barack Obama basically said that if we can get 1 Million people to vote on a verbal petition to legalize marijuana, then a bill will get put forth, and he would consider it on a genuine level. The next day a phone number popped up, where we can put our vote in. All you have to do is call this number, there is a short explanation, and then a chance for you to get your vote into the tallies. Now, we need every single member of these forums to call this number, and every member needs to get everybody they know involved. If we have 10,000 members or however many, and we each let 10 people know, who then in turn let 10 people know, then we have our million votes. Do this and show your support for your country, and lets get this fuckin shit LEGALIZED!!

.....or at least MMJ legalized anyways, lol.

This number is totally legit! guys call it! It takes two seconds and all it records is you hitting the pound key "#" so it doesn't ask for any personal info. beyond that it even explains the whole process in two seconds. Great post!!!!!!!

N even if you ARE a skeptik, whats it going to hurt to put your vote in one time? I mean, im still being realistic, i know that in all probability that LEGALIZATION wont happen, but i think that theres something to be done about Federal MMJ legalization for sure. If we show Obama that we have more than the supporters that hes asking for, then hell be more inclined to take us seriously. Just send the number to everyone you know, along with a short explanation, n tell them to do the same. Treat it like chainmail that may actually benefit you if you pass it along...lol

that link you just posted shows the company who provided the number, why they did it, and what they plan on doing with it. Thats totally legit!
What this number is:


  • This number is one of many numbers created by the novelty-number company Humor Hotlines.
  • Unlike other numbers from HH, Goldblatt claims this is a legitimate poll being conducted which he plans to compile and give to various contacts within the government in hopes that it will be presented to Congress and President Barack Obama.
  • This number is completely free and has apparently no known risks/fees associated with it outside of normal cell phone charges/minutes used/etc.
  • If the number reaches a certain amount of votes (1,000,000), HH has every intention to follow through and send the compiled petition to the government.

i think if it spreads big enough it could hit the news!! every little bit helps!! what if it went over 6 to 10 million!! i think there will be more votes then people think!!

Bah, son of a bitch. I hate it when that shit happens, lol. But Still though, if you are someone who is interested in being active in the pot community, this is most definitely something to get involved in. Though now i feel like a retard for just blurting out what was told to me by a few different people, without substantiating it myself, i still think that the basis for the census is good, and since nobody has been able to figure out quite yet what WILL work, and get done what we need to get done, then why not try as many things as possible to be heard? theyre not asking for our info, theyre not charging us anything for the call, so i say VOTE. You never know what'll happen man :D

RH Brands is not an actual political/advocacy group and has no major connections or affiliation with any political group/person which could ensure something like this would “make it in front of the Preisdent” (as so many messages online made it appear to be), and in Goldblatt’s own words it is a “half-a-step-better” than calling your congressman.

I'd rather those million people march on the capitol. Or vote for pro-marijuana representatives.

The reason this hotline is appealing to you is because it is easy and anonymous. Effective activism is neither easy or anonymous. Before marijuana is legalized people will be beaten and gassed by police forces. Many more will go to prison for nonviolent crimes while violent offenders are offered early release to free up room for marijuana "criminals."

Yeah hurry up apparently it doesn't cost more than a normal call and the whole world is waiting for you guys to, the whole world can't do anything without the US consent thus we can't legalize until you do, change.org also has 5,000 out of 10,000 as their target for the same thing, I would post a link straight to the page but you have to register anyway so it won't make it much faster.
