:| I would suggest checking the grow faq.. or possibly doing some research.

Watering is one of the basics that a plant needs.. and as to when you water it.. will depend on you.

In general though, most people including myself.. I like to wait until the top layer of the soil is dry. Then I'll add a little water.. until the top dries out again.

But, again.. most people around here aren't going to help you with basic questions like this. I would also suggest reading a grow guide for newbies.

and uhm.. good luck I suppose.. :|

peace.

Really depends on temps. I have 4 girls I give 1/2 cup a water a day. Don't worry about the amount of water, your plants will tell you when to water. If you deceide on a watering schedule and you stick to it you may be starving your plants of water. Check daily! A set schedule is bull! Listen to your plants! MG once a week will be good at first, but then again listen to your plants! They speak to you more than you know.

Dont overwater and get HOT of that Miricle Grow , get some organics and dont Overfeed like most newbies .
How old are your plants , whats your soil , have you got perlite/vermiculite .
Do your research , research and more research ,
We`ve all done it and We are all STILL doing it

like others say, if the soil is dry, probably might want to give it a little bit of water. a little bit is like, 1/2 cup or less even. I dont know how big your plant is. It is all relative, that is why you may be getting what you feel are 'harsh' responses from some people.
If your leaves are droopy looking, water the thing.
I am not using any MG, just water that I balanced to 6.5(used to be a bit below because soil was a bit higher). I water maybe every day, with a tiny splash of my fixed water, when I wake up. If the plant is looking perky and nice, I might not water that day, and maybe give a bit more the next day.
(barely entered veg 2 days ago or so)

One thing I have read, try not to pour your water right onto the base of the plant, it may cause root rot(?). The area around it(some will go right onto the base, yes) should do fine.

Your gonna need to do your own research though man. I am just beginning my first time, and am in the middle of 3 books. Lots of reading, but the more you know, the better your stuff will be.

Couldnt agree more with you.

That might be the case if you've buried a peat pellet or rockwool cube but isn't the usual case. I pour all my water on the stalk, have for years. Anything that runs to the side probably isn't getting to the plant.
