Watch for mould on your rock wool. The top looks too wet. But be careful if you start to tear some of it off the top you might rip some roots. I think I see a nice shallow root sticking up . Burp

Getting growth & she is greening up a bit ppm@450 [email protected] this clone was in pretty bad shape when I got it but she is coming around I had to turn the air pump down as it was spitting nutes everywhere the little light seems to be a good match for my setup today is day# 5 I think

I picked 2 strains from these guys( www.kingklonebrand.com ) this is super sour'diesel I'm my other tent I have another hybrid they call blackjack not to be confused with nirvana blackjack

Does anyone have an easy fix for the intermittent loud "burps" that come from the res? They are way to loud for my place.
Total waterfarm noob here. Bought all the stuff and am now officially up n running (barely) thanks to Scottyballs.
Only thing is the airpump I got with my WF is a bit too weak, water barely drips out from just a few holes. So I upgraded it and now I am getting very nice circulation but I also get these LOUD burps. If only there was an easy fix.
I will post pics ones things get interesting.

Thanks! But you're talking about the gurgle from the drip ring right? I'm talking about the loud burp from down in the res that appeared after installing the bigger air pump.
Still gonna try to silence that gurgle though. Thanks!

Yes the ring. Where I had issues.
Hmm. Never encountered that issue in the rez.
Maybe it's not reaching far enough in the water(doubt it )? Too much air getting pushed through, limiting water getting pushed up? Maybe drill them out and try turning your bigger pump down or use old pump...?
Yeah. I'll try drilling the holes in the ring. Perhaps that will be enough to lower the pressure. I believe the pump is too powerful and pushes air both up and down at the bottom of the pillar, leading to the burps. It's a fixed speed pump but I have another one coming with adjustable settings. Thank you!

Quiet the gurgle? I never ever thought about doing that. I enjoy that sound so much. And the humming purr. Music to my ears.
