Was she doomed from the start?

Hi everyone, I have a small female plant that is in need of a ICU. She stretched as a seedling and did show signs of some kind of stem deformation. She was happy untill 2 nights ago and Im not sure what to do with her at this point. Any advice would be welcomed.

It has some kind of disease/fungus that ate through the stem, killing it.

Was she doomed from the start?
