Yes it still has abamectin as well as thiamethoxam. It is systemic. The major reason it was banned in some countries is it highly toxic to bees and if used outdoors can devastate bee populations. As far as toxicity to humans you'll have to investigate that. I personally don't like systemics,and even if safe for ingestion, I doubt anyone has info on how safe it is to smoke.

The Vitality Plus sold in Australia is not systemic and can be safely used on food crops. It's active ingredient is ISO1750 approved and concentration for LD50 equal approximately 350mg/kg of pure organic active material - this is equivalent to 1,500 litres in one dose. In Australia, it is sold as a plant conditioning spray and does not require warning labels as it is non toxic. I don't believe it contains Thiamethoxan, but it does contain a Macrolytic Lactone. Abamectin is a Macrolytic Lactone but Vitality Plus uses a single active product, but stereo chemical configuration gives it numerous properties. In its concentrated form, the product is highly toxic to bees, fish and invertebrates their eggs and larvae but is completely non toxic to bees after 24 hours of being sprayed on plants. It is completely bio-degradable and has low to negligible bio-accumulation potential not persistent in soil and on plants. The solution sold as Vitality Plus in Australia is extremely diluted, so the information above should also be diluted proportionately.

This is from a website in Au that sells the product: "This product is not recommended for consumable plants or those on a strict organic routine. " And, Plant Vitality Plus is a single-treatment insecticide spray that very effectively kills spider mites and some other insect pests. Plant Vitality Plus is absorbed by the plant and works systemically for several days after application. Your call.

Have you got a link to where you found that info so i can see the source, only as it was hard to find anything about it through my own searches

Do you have a link to where you read that about it aswell?

You'll find the websites that suggest it "not to be used when following a strict organic regime" are then suggesting or offering another product in its place. The Active Ingredient is a completely organic biochemical. Thiamethoxan (a systemic pesticide) is not an ingredient in Vitality Plus sold in Australia. This is the ingredient present in some versions of this product sold overseas. I suggest that some website creators are simply grabbing copy from "Plant Vitality Plus" listings from the UK to create unique content, without realising the products are not actually the same.

I could not find any list of ingredients for that product, but don't be overly complacent because it's "organic", botulinum, aflotoxin, oleandrin, glycoalkaloids, and many other things are are organic, theyre also deadly. Just saying. Sounds like you did your homework, but unless I had the bottle and the ingredient list in hand, I'd be wary.

Could not find any active constituents in the labeling.

Why you will find it sold as a plant conditioner, Australia has very strict labeling laws in regards to pesticides/fungicides.

Go ask any of the sellers of these plant conditioners sold to kill insects coming from the USA, ask if they are APVMA approved.

Why you can buy cold pressed neem oil as a leaf shine and not a pesticide in Australia.
