Hi

I have quietline fan from vents 125 mm and the sound is anoing...so I have problem over night my college unpluged ventilation from the wall...so I know that would happen when I buy vent I my rommie have a problem with sound...so I set the start of night for plant in 11 at night when he goes sleep...
I have strong lights...diy cob set 200w citizen 1212 gen 6 but the plant is without ventilation from 11 at night to 10-11 in the morning when I plug the ventilator bback on....
Thats my only ventilation in 80x80...
So can I get bud roots from the period when the plant is without ventilation...?
For now is looking good...flowering and looks happy with the lights...
And when I add carbon filter will I reduce the sound of vent?
And my hummidity is crazy...when fan is working I cant go lower than 50%, and when I opeen tent in the morning when is 7-8 h without ventilation the hummidity meter show me 80-99 %
so I really woring about bud root...this is my first try and realy want to be good because I have good light ang good foof for the plant (biotabs starter kit)
the plants are in smart-pots
and ask myself if I buy the ventilator like this one on the link will it help me with the hummidity over night whem my quietline main vent in tent dont working?

Get a 4 or 6 inch vortex fan one that’s bigger than you need and run it on lowest setting buy the speed control knob turn it all the way down. I have a 6 inch I run on 25% can’t hear it even in the room. You should have one and a carbon scrubber you just can’t grow with out one. To many problems with out. I know there pricy but you can’t go wrong the day you plug it in and get it working you will never try without again.

Thank you very much for the replay....
I will continue looking but I think that prima clima with temp sond and speed potenciometar the best thing I can bux in my country...
But will continue looking for most silent fan...

Can you please tell me why will I be loving carbon filter.
Is it because of smell or sound that he will reduce when I connect it with fan?

Carbon filters will both reduce noise and clean up the smell.

Your going to have to get your humidity under control or all your growing is mold. Water them less as a start and try to figure something out, move more air, something.

This may not be the nest point in your life to grow if you have a room mate..

Ok I must buy filter to reduce the sound...
So rule of a filter is that the cubic m must be more then cubic m on vent?
So if my vent move air at 197 m/3h every filter with 200 or more m/3h will do the job ...am I correct?

So when growing in tent the vent thats pull the air out must be on 0-24?
And what is optimal humidity gor veg and flower....
At what % of humidity the flower start root and mold?

I try to keep my humidity around 30. When it will mold depends on a lot of things, mostly the area you live in and how much mold spores is in the air.

Im betting its not legal for you to he growing, and when you have a room mate your just asking to get busted or jacked for your harvest.

So I dont know nothing about this so can you please help me will this save me from mold when he unpluged the vent..
Does dehumidiefiers create noise?
On the site they say that this model is quiet tehnology without compressor?
How much noise can I expect from this because on the web shop they didnt put the dB...

Thats basically not going to help you at all. Its so tiny it simply wont do any good.
You would be better off going to the store an looking for baking soda in kg size boxes, around here its like 5 bucks for 1kg. You can pour the whole kg of baking soda into a pan in your box, it will absorb moisture and you can change it out around 1 time a week. It will also absorb odor so 2 birds with one stone kinda thing.

Increasing the size of your fan is going to also do some good. And make sure the soil is dry between waterings. And make sure there is never any standing water anywhere in the box or your room. No sink full of dishwater, an keep your showers short. Little things like that can help you though this cycle and i highly advise you to build a new box with a bigger fan for next time

so dehumidifier ???

I dont know, but really want to belive what manufacturer say when ha said that the version of that dehumidifier pull 690 ML/DAY...
Can one or two plant even create 690 ML/DAY ?

So this is the humidifier I am thinking off buying...
1.5 l capacity and 690 ML / DAY efficenty and claim it to be the silent tehnology....60w power
on the web site they say that is good for space 230 m3 ( 9x8x3 m )
what do you guys think ? and I have only 80x80x160 cm
will it help me at least 15-20 % for my flowering...
It would be souch a sad momments for me if my only plant who I m taking care of 2 months go sick with mold... so I will do anythig to prevent that...
Please recommendation....

And I noticed when I dim the cobs to max the humidity goes lower , but I dont know how good is to run 4 individual cobs on 240 w all the time...plus I dont have a lux meter yet so I really cant doing this if I dont want defficency?
Am I correct?

The model you have above is highly rated however overall the small ones may not do what you want (I have one that's not doing anything about my 90+% humidity for days on end) I'm going to upgrade to a large 50 - 70 pint a day unit soon

I'm still not sure the upgraded unit is going to handle the type of humidity we have here on the New England coast, but I have little option because high humidity causes powdery mildew, septoria and other issues which many of us including myself are dealing with now

Don't really understand why you want to shut your fans off, dark period is when you need the ventilation most ?

Also you can move all the air in the world but unless you're reducing the humidity all you're doing is moving humid air

I live on the sea cost too...

So when you mentiod pint what does that meaning and how many pint the that model have ?
And I cant find anywhere how much dB it will produce?

Example: I have one about the same size and it didn't even fill up in the last day and a half even though the humidities been in the upper 80s and low 90s!? (and still is right now) so basically it's useless although the one you have picked out is very highly rated for small units, small units don't work well, if at all

My point is even if it extracted what it says it will per day it's not going to make a difference you would even notice. When the humidity is around 60% I've noticed mine might bring it down to 57%

The other issue with a bigger dehumidifier is it takes a lot more electricity and I'm up near my comfortable limit so there's a few related issues to consider

Like i said avove that wont help your humidity issue at all basically, and the people selling it will litterally say anything. Buy it if you want but it really isnt likely to help much.

I can run a dehum pulling 5 gallons of water per day out of the air (20,000 ml) its not only what the plant transpires, its about total moisture in the air. A unit rated for 690 ml max isnt going to pull 690 ml, and 690 ml is very very tiny.

If you buy a handful of them it could help though, an its not like its gonna hurt. So if money isnt tight ya may as well cuz every bit is gonna help
