Veging under LED

I was able to get some LEDs for real cheap so I thought I'd try em out and so far I think they're doing fine. Maybe a little stretching but not too shabby for less than 2 watts each. They're 21 days old tomorrow. What do you think?

Yeah for 2 watts thats good, at 21 days they should be alot bigger, don't think they'll be able to survive much longer without more light though.

yea they look good for that small amount of wattage but i would definately supplement a little more light in there. at least a few cfls if nothing else. i have a few blue led tubes i am taking out of my car when i upgrade to a multi-color led and i may try just adding them to my set-up for the hell of it. i was wondering....i have heard blue light adds to the possibility of getting female plants. is this a blue spectrum thing....a color thing....a kelvin temp. scale thing....or what? after i use the leds i will post the results i get but maybe somebody can give me a "science behind color spectrum" heads up before i get it going. i will try it anyway but if i know what i am looking for ahead of time i will have a leg up.

Thanks for the interest everyone but I do tend to agree with most of you, they should be a lot further along. I wasn't expecting much from the get-go but I was too curious when I saw these things for about 10 bucks a pop and 2 watts. I have quite a few more bulbs that I'll add once I get the wiring done. I'll post an update in a bit.
